Photo anecdotique réalisée dans de pauvres conditions de lumière et de positionnement mais je l'aime bien pour son contexte : elle a le goût des bons tours que la Nature peut nous jouer parfois.
J'étais à l'affût sous cet arbre avec vue sur le marais quand je vois un martin pêcheur plonger à quelques mètres de moi et s'envoler avec du menu fretin dans son bec. C'est bien ma veine ! Aucune chance de pouvoir le photographier sur son perchoir, son poste était au-dessus de moi dans le feuillage...^^
Je suis revenu le lendemain, placé différemment bien déterminé à capturer cet oiseau magnifique posé sur de prétendus perchoirs « idéaux » que j'avais repérés... Au bout de quelques heures sous un affût de fortune, assis sur un terrain en pente, je le vois arriver. Je sais que je n'aurai droit qu'à trois plongeons avant qu'il ne disparaisse.
L'animal se posait entre les branches hors de ma vue... Grrr ! J'ai pu finalement arracher ce cliché un peu avant la tombée de la nuit : distance trop importante, environnement surchargé, mauvaise luminosité mais sourire aux lèvres.

A Eurasian Treecreeper in a small forest close to my home in Skarpnäck, southern Stockholm. Early November 2024. I had the luck to come close to this little beauty, so the photo is not cropped at all. The yellowish background is an effect from the autumn colours in the forest in combination with the warm sunlight.

Ma le Passioni, è noto, comportano sempre sacrifici!

Rainbow Lorikeet (Trichoglossus moluccanus ) this evening in the back yard. We are very lucky here in Australia with some of the Fauna that we see every day and take for granted. A stunning looking bird. Canon R7 and Sigma 150-600mm C lens.
36306 LX56EAA seen departed Bromley High School, Jubilee Country Park working on route R7 to Chelsfield Village, Five Bells.
Taken on the same day I went after the R7 extra (2020.09.10) which was a regional Optare Solo which did 3 back-to-back one way afternoon trips from Bickley Aquila to Petts Wood. This enabled the opportunity to snap a regular which I've hadn't covered yet, and get it done before the route changes company in just under two weeks time (at writing).
