Un nuage rose qui prendrait un bain de pluie.....ça froufroute de partout, ça s'immerge pour refaire surface couvert de perles d'eau qui roulent sur ses plumes, ça se contorsionne dans tous les sens, avant de se hisser à nouveau sur deux longues et fines baguettes. A n'en pas douter, c'est un flamant......rose 🎀

Far, far away this train can be seen in the Salzach valley on one of our walks. I had seen this photo point from further down in the valley but couldn't find the point it was taken from, it didn't come from some photo site, it was in a touristic brochure overlooking Pfarrwerfen .. probably taken with a drone.
In the end I thought this was good too, a DB 101 with the white IC cars fitted well in the viewfinder with a mighty mountain range in the background.

I consider myself very lucky to have a willing victim of my photographic exploits. My hubby, Ron Harper and I have been married for 10 years now and still loving it. I asked him to sit for a portrait session today to commemorate the moment.
I've shot this many times, but I loved the light on it yesterday, and the place is now closed so who knows how long we have left with it around?
This style of Dodge Coronet R/T offered for model years 1966-67. This one has the grille of the 1967 model. The performance R/T was available with the 440 cubic inch V8 or the 426 Hemi optional.

I shot alot this weekend from a wedding yesterday in San Marcos www.twinoaksweddings.com/ to shooting downtown San Diego today with my buddy Todd After leaving Todd's I took some HDR's of the mormon church in La Jolla, then to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad www.theflowerfields.com/, followed up by some long exposures & HDR's on a beach in Carlsbad..
For the record.. I don't add saturation.. just curves & levels.. maybe my s curve was a tad too large? Or maybe I played with the exposure, offset & gamma too much? Oh well.. I got plenty more where this came from! ;P
1992 was a leap year, and on that extra day of February 29, 1992 CSX train R-353 pulls out of New Castle Yard behind an eight unit lashup in 5 paint schemes. The P&LE main in in the lower right. If you look closely at the OA Interlocking box, there is a diamond where the P&LE New Castle Branch crossed the CSX main.
