FOR A "TENACIOUS" BOND
--quotation from You've Got Mail; these friendly flowers were photographed outside the Seaquist Orchards Farm Market located in Sister Bay, Door County, Wisconsin; 072811
would those quotes "scare the living mess" out of you if you were coming here to have your back cracked or to be poked with needles?

Montage: Luis Drayton; 03/07/10. (Yeah, it's one I prepared earlier - you didn't think I'd be able to create anything this complex straight off the bat, the state I've been in? ;) )
The worthiest works of all often reflect an artful creativity that looks more like play than work. ~James Ogilvy

Journal:
What a different view of the world. With this view, we would maybe look after it better.
Born in Kent, the daughter of the Duke of Edinburgh, second son of Queen Victoria, Marie married Ferdinand of Hohenzollern to become Queen of Romania, as recalled in the verse:
Oh, life is a glorious cycle of song,
A medley of extemporanea;
And love is a thing that can never go wrong;
And I am Marie of Roumania.
The Queen was an assiduous and talented writer and apart from her memoirs published in London one should mention children stories illustrated by Dulac.

NOTE:
Most of the above 160 Romanian women, in the best tradition of versatility, are true polymaths and therefore nearly each one of them falls in more than just one category, often three or more. This explains why adding the numbers of the 57 individual categories bears no relation to the actual total of the above 160 women included in Blouse Roumaine.

Signed by ‘RS’. Note the pronounced overshoots, the hybrid figures, the asymmetrical ‘M’, the quotation marks at cap height, and the compact umlauts. There are ligatures for ‘TT’ and ‘NN’, but only for one instance of ‘ST’. Is there an apostrophe in ‘Geschichts’schreiber’ – a courtesy mark to help the reader find the compound border?
IT'S A BOOK.
IT'S A NECKLACE.
IT'S A BOOKLACE!
Wearable art that's also a unique conversation piece.
Each tiny booklace contains a one-of-a-kind, handwritten, and handbound artist book. It is enclosed in a brass frame that is easily opened (while you are wearing it). You can then completely remove the book to show and read it to others.
Unique collectible art individually signed by the artist.
It's comforting to have this quotation on the front of my sketchbook, (view it large in order to read it) just in case anyone starts to critique my sketches. I've gotten rather used to sketching in public and it's helpful to say, "I'm just practicing" when approached.
Some unprofessional film people splice head leaders onto the film's tail, so maybe there is a grain of truth in the scare quotes.
