Sexton C17 N° 992 - 3.8.68 C17 N° 992 hauls an Up special passenger train across Wide Bay Creek near Sexton, Kingaroy Branch on 3rd August 1968. The Up Home signal for Sexton is at the right of the photograph. Sexton was a gate with stationmistress in charge and, contrary to standard practice, the normal position of both Home signals was “clear”.
The low-volume and peculiar SLR built by Swiss watchmakers! Key feature is the separate nonreflex viewfinder (which can optionally include a coupled, coincident rangefinder with a vertical base). Of course using anyone's normal camera grasp both these will be blocked by your focusing hand. Alpa wanted you to focus with your right fingertips, which is also why the accessory rapid-wind lever points forward.
Also note that the reflex prism eyepiece is at a weird 45° angle.
I find these cameras fascinating, and they're supposed to be beautifully made; but wildly impractical considering the money they sell for. As long as we're dreaming I should probably go for a model 8b from c.1959 which has all the bells and whistles (where I believe "b" signifies the update to an instant-return mirror).
Marian X-ing 17m 16c Netherdale Branch – 13.9.67 Marian Mill’s N°3 “Nellie” crosses the Netherdale Branch at the diamond crossing at 17miles 16chains. The disc in the background was the only signalling provided at this crossing.
Quilpie 1704 98 Up March 1974 The sun sits low in the western sky after DEL1704 has arrived at Quilpie with 98Up passenger. This train and its return connected with the air-conditioned Westlander at Charleville. Its composition consisted of MCL (composite air-conditioned sitting car), MPR (combined power car and refrigerated chamber – a converted CMIS wagon), MBC (Baggage Car), BLC and van. The MCL and MBC came from Brisbane with the MPR being attached in Toowoomba. The riding qualities of the lightly laid track gave the impression of a higher than actual speed and that phenomenon and the train’s diminutive size earned it the nickname of the “Flying Flea”.
Command Sgt. Maj. Patrick M. Quirk, U.S. Army Garrison Red Cloud and Area I senior enlisted leader cheered on participants of the CRC Labor Day 5K Aug. 30. Quirk presented medals to the fastest runners and spoke to the group about Spirit Challenge, an endurance event scheduled for Sept. 13 on Camp Hovey and Casey.

Esk – C17 N°802 361 Down 12.10.68 At 3.45pm on 12th October 1968, C17 N°802 rest at Esk Platform with 361 Down Goods. This train ran from Toogoolawah to Ipswich on Saturdays only and was worked by the engine off the previous night’s 370 passenger. C17 N°802 is now owned by MVHR.

Eddie Quirk leaves Old Boys Oval in Toowoomba during the First XV match up between Brisbane State High School and Toowoomba Grammar School in 2008 with a shattered and profusely bleeding nose. Made for some nice shots, and tough young Ed gave me the thumbs up as he walked by. Eddie went on to represent the Australian Schoolboy side in 2008, and in 2010 made his professional debut for the Qld Reds. He is currently (June 2010) in Argentina with the Australian Under 20 side playing in the junior World Cup.
Toolburra - Southern Line, Up Home Sommersault Signal The Up Home Signal at Toolburra photographed from 26 Up passenger in March 1968. This was one of the last examples of somersault type signals in use in this state.
Toolburra was an unattended crossing loop on the Southern Line between Toowoomba and Warwick.
I've always loved reading, and I used to always read upside down. Hanging off the couch or bed, sitting on the floor with my feet on a chair..ect. I contribute my immunity to motion sickness to this weird habit.

High School, he is also the old brother of Braeden, he grew up with the family and grew up with his brother Braeden, since they were growing up the family went thru of hardship since the father work in the "Hollywood" studio and work for business, he also divorce the wife and he would marry a actress from the movie industry scene, the father left, and the children was only survived by there mother, cousin and relative in Los Angeles, California, despite beautiful childhood memories they want to follow the same traditional common and interest like there own family have in common back in the day- they use to play "hero vs villains" trope thing growing up , he use to say it the best thing ever to portrayed for "hero" and "villains" troope play thing, while Braeden is younger and Ethan is abit older-less, they would share simpler time until they grown up and decided to make a future upon them self and would move out from the family household: the mother said she been working two job and she cannot do many things at the time, she said to Braeden and Ethan they would start a new life and start moving out to "Japan" where they have friends who are Japanese that know Braeden mother and father in common back then, the mother said she would promise they would call back to her own son whatever she can, it also stated that Ethan moved out and Braeden did and stay at the adopt family houses, Ethan temporary stay at the adopted family house with Braeden, but Ethan had to go and leave the adopt family house and he would move out and residence to U.A High School and officially stay there for awhile, and train to become a "hero" like he once use to doing his child-hood for playing the trope with "hero" vs villain" thing. Ethan has a ancestor of Poland and half a blood-line to Russian family tree, but he is a all time american civilian dude and a hero, half of his unknown and well-known families in Europe- rarely speak to him for sometime, so as his other family in the United States. Ethan is into alot of old school stuff, like his family are when they grew up in the 70s and 80s back then, Ethan is also very well educated and one of the chillest person ever and he can hang out with anyone else, especially the female classmate of U.A High School. When he have his own time off, he would like to spend his day off for spending time and petting with cats, go to the movies, eat out, hang out with his friends, and he would go hang out with the female classmate when they are in school break or holiday day off, especially Ethan does whatever he want that he please to do- even no one cant force him nor stop him, he was also attempting if he would finished high school someday, he would go to college and get a degrees to having to do "technology" and "science", his dream originally was supposed to be a movie start- but he drop that dream officially as a whole. He still fight on, and he fight against the "League of Villains" in the My Hero Academia ongoing timeline event, female heroine and female classmate all have a crush on "Ethan" even he is more handsome and good looking than his own brother "Braeden"
