Quick second retouch from Day 1 ultimate weekend workshop.

This tundra swan is new to the park. We've had a visiting tundra here all winter but she left almost a week ago for her summer home in the arctic. This one is bigger and the yellow facial skin is distinctive. The other tundra hung out with the trumpeters while it was here and this one slipped right in with them too. This was a nice surprise.

Quick pic of a young whitetail buck just starting to grow his antlers. Taking after sunset with no tripod..hence the fuzziness....
Catching a launch shot is fun after spending much time with my lens aimed at perched eagles. They can sit in a spot for hours between fish. I was locked on to this baldie when he made his move, which was just a quick drop and then off.
It all happens so fast.
He/she must have exhaled strongly as there is some nostril spray.
A follow-up shot milleseconds later in comments.
They are so impressive to watch.

Hadn't seen them in a long time. They grabbed a little water, a little suet, posed for a photo and were off again.

Wig style is based on this picture www.zerochan.net/880850 in different color but I'll make another one in same color when the fur shipment arrives "yep I'm a fan of Tsubasa Amaha"
items you most need:
1- Socks "color is close to skin tone" (made of thin and stretchable fabric )
2- White glue
3- Hair (either fur, heat resistance fiber, human hair etc..)
4- tooth pick
5- scissors (preferably micro tip one )

For the hard cap:
1- warp the head with plastic warp and tie it with rubber band to hold it in place (so it won't get dirty)
2- Insert the head inside the sock
3- Stretch the sock around the head evenly and tie it with rubber band to hold it in place
4- Now coat the head with white glue and wait for it to dray and then coat it again (at least do 3-5 coats)
5-Then by using pencil draw the cap shape then cut it
Quickly, bring me a beaker of wine, so that I may wet my mind and say something clever.

so lucky to find this open stall in a market to buy this (GUESS WHAT IT IS) for a quick repair of my back pack. costs USD10cents
I am happy to see that this little guy found some natural food, most of the critters here depend on the people who break the rules and feed these little guys peanuts.
A note on the image, I am not crazy about this one. I feel like the green in the trees has just over taken over the image. I think it is simply the light reflection in the tree. I assume someone better in lightroom could do something with it.

I stood out in the cold waiting for this shot for about 30 minutes with my camera in position, focused and ready to shoot as soon as the color appeared. The color only lasted about 3-4 minutes before it was gone and the clouds turned dark and grey. It was a "Quick Sunset" but well worth the wait.
This photo hit Explore for 12-21-12 at #495 at around 9:00 am on 12-22-12, 45 minutes later is was up to #426 and as of 2:00 pm local time it has moved all the way up to # 293.

Ein Fischbrötchen und eine Pommes-Spezial an der Landungsbrücke in Hamburg ist inzwischen bei jedem Besuch der Hansestadt Tradition. Der eigentliche Hochwasser Schutzdeich wurde hier neu gestaltet. Bietet den Straßenkünstlern eine groß Bühne, lädt ein zum Flanieren, sowie zum Fotografieren. Die beiden DT5 Einheiten 417/418 mit Vollwerbung überraschten mich völlig und konnten nur noch in letzter Sekunde mit dem Handy aufgenommen werden. Sie werben für die App des Hamburger Verkehrs Verbund HVV.

A fish sandwich and a fries special at the Landungsbrücken in Hamburg has now become a tradition every time you visit the Hanseatic city. The actual flood protection dike was redesigned here. Offers street artists a large stage and invites you to stroll and take photos. The two DT5 units 417/418 with full advertising completely surprised me and could only be recorded with my cell phone at the last second. You are advertising the app from the Hamburger Verkehrs Association HVV.
Quick, cimple one, made in about half an hour while doing nothing in college =P
