" Are you the man who drives that unusual silver and blue coupe ?" ,Orlando inquired. Just then the Lamborghini LM002 roared to life and shot out of the parking lot. " Youth..." Merek chuckled then both caught the exchange in the corner, " ... a pleasure to meet you." Karl said. The Pink Panther dipped his snout with a smile and stated, " Likewise." Karl shuffled a bit and then, " I, um, I wonder if...I could pet you ?" Paul tried to hide a surprised look and glanced over his shoulder, " Well...I'm not certain that would...be appropriate here.." Roger turned away with a clear " Oh man !" gesture. Then another voice shot across the lot; Sabine appeared at a service door. " Paulshen, I have a jacket for you, and some slacks that match !" " Thank you, I'll be there in haste !" The panther dismissed himself and padded quickly across the lot with a whispered ' Thank goodness".
Merek and Orlando roared with laughter when suddenly a burgundy dragon appeared in the van's opposite window. " This never ends." Merek mused.
A Saturday night party fires up at New London's Bucket Club and the cruising crowd stops by for music and refreshments. The club doesn't have a kitchen so Orlando arranged to offer his services out back as his brother Rudolf spins the tunes for the crowd. Bruce ( known by most as " Otto" ) in his Custom Otto street machine and Sabine in her Caddy CT5-V spot Marco's Lincoln and Georgette's Volvo wagon, Sabine also noticed DJ Ruff Rolf's VW camper and flashes Otto to stop in. Otto is hankering for some spicy chicken and they pull in.
The driver window rolled down though Orlando could barely see inside the car despite being so close. A silhouette of a face turned to him and spoke to him in the voice of a man of age and authority;
" Good evening, Sir. I am told by an acquaintance you can create a dish flavoured in Andhra Moggu spice. Is this so ?"
" Yes it is, sir. I could have it ready in a few minutes for you. "
" That would be fine. Do you accept United States currency ?"
Orlando took his order and set a price. A hand gloved in fine brown leather handed Orlando bills of some age and refused change. Twenty dollar bills dated in the 1950s... After a patient wait ( Orlando noticed the window remained down but saw no activity in the car, no chatter of a radio or glow of a cell phone) he presented the driver with the food and a bottle of ginger beer.
" Ah, a wonderful scent ! Thank you, and good evening."
The window rolled up and the strange machine no one could identify purred to life
These varied, colorful nuts are a common street-food in nice wintry Harbin - they look like they're sold by the weight and might be nice for nibbling on those extended bus/train journeys.... ;-)
K's plate in the Venetian Food Court. He really enjoyed it. A lot better then the manchu wok he tried in the first week in the Monte Carlo casino food court.

This is a small café that is located just outside the tower 5 of Suntec City in Singapore, the place where a number of tour buses and other vehicles such as the amphibious vehicle start. Given that people come on these tour buses in large numbers and can have to wait for 30 minutes or more in the morning before the tour buses start, the cafe was doing good business selling a range of items for quick eating. Just next to the cafe is a seating area where you can take your food and drink.

I took this as I checked out settings of a Canon p&s. A shot through the Quick Bite food van with the Mercedes 500E at the window. A Road Dragon point of view of Orlando's and Merek's exchange in the ' NYE at the Gun Club' set.
Orlando waved to Georgette as she left thinking " good kid". He turned with a start as he realized the big luxury coupe had reversed and was heading towards his van. It had been rarely seen in town and never stopped there. Orlando knows a lot of people and none of them had ever seen its driver ! He glanced over at the fire truck and felt somewhat relieved its crew was around. The coupe silently rolled up beside his van.

Richard Petty had come over to get a fried chicken dinner from Orlando and motioned the ladies to go ahead of him. They exchanged glances then Lammy leaned on her truck and replied, " We're looking to do some racing on the back road. We're, um, wondering if ya..ya know, would like to.. race ?" Mr. Petty smile and said, " I'm past my racing days and I'm here to guest on the race commentary. How about I get us some dinner and you can join me up in the tower /" They talked about their rides ( Mr. Petty stated of his car that it is quite fast) then took their orders to the elevator. Orlando always enjoys these little plays of life.

Along with the cruise night the road behind The Bucket Club brings in a few working crews ending their day. Most aren't club patrons but know Orlando could be there. The INC Construction trucks pass by as the Matchbox Construction truck pulls in. Mack never passes on a tasty meal from Orlando and the Ford F-350 driven by Nikolay decides to follow suit. Jaroslaw continues on in the Ford F-550 Super Duty as it looks small parked by the heavy pick-ups.

The scent of the chicken got to the driver of the Volvo 240 Drift Wagon as she waited for Mack to park. Being a right hand drive car it was a drive-through ! Orlando is a tall fellow and had no problem reaching down to the lady wearing a Volvo toque and "Hoonigan" shirt.
