Spent one night on the Deschutes just to get away, and to give the Defender its first test drive over the mountain passes.
Quick Montage of a few shots. Hopefully one day I will be able to compile all of the shots from the evening!
I had a quick vacation out of metro manila last weekend. The vacation went out good, did some several "first" during the stay. As you can see here myrbo keeps on wondering why all this board shorts are hanged on the air-conditioning unit. It's because we have no place to hang them outside and we don't want them to fly off the cliff.
The EVF Tri-Mount Kit gives the option to mount the EVF in 3 different ways. It gives you the option to use the EVF Standard Mount when shooting handheld (off the side of the Zacuto DSLR baseplate), the Extender Viewfinder Mount when shooting on a tripod or dolly, or in quick release hotshoe mount configuration.
The Tri-Mount includes the EVF Standard Mount as well as an 7” M/F rod and a ZUD ¼” 20. The 7” rod allows you to use the EVF in an extender viewfinder position. To use the extender viewfinder mount, unscrew the standard rod on the head of the standard mount and replace it with the 7” rod and then slide the Z-mount Zwivel off the rod and place it wherever you like so that you can position your EVF to your desired position.

Log Book Entry Week #4
I took this photograph because this sign is on the street that I pass every day to get home from school and when I first saw the sign flipped and upside down, I burst out laughing and thought “Man, I need a picture of this.” It reminded me of how quickly things can change and how our normal routine can be altered. It is a good reminder, nevertheless that we should have things in our lives that can shake up the routine and add some interest in our lives. I shot this photo using the rules of thirds, because quite frankly, it is my favorite way to shoot pictures. I really enjoy looking at pictures taken this way, so I decided to do one too. For this photograph, I set my camera to manual and set the aperture to f/5.6, the shutter speed to 1/80 and the ISO to 1600 for a bright photo. At first, looking back on the picture I thought that the picture was too bright, but with the editing, the photo turned out perfectly and I couldn’t ask for a better shot. I edited the picture with Pic Monkey and I darkened the brightness and then added an effect called Dusk to add a richer tone to the photo. If I had the opportunity to re-shoot this picture, I would not because I am very pleased with how it turned out.
...for a radically lazy person... like me :)
Baked beans with eggs and garlic potatoes. Plus, I had a bag of family-size mixed salad.
(... Lazy?? I've been in the kitchen for 15 long minutes!!)
