A question and answer from some cheap trivia game that a friend got as a gift. This caused some uproar when we tried playing it!

www.flickr.com/photos/80031727@N07/19577367210/in/datepos...

peu m'importent mes chances,

peu m'importe le temps

ou la désespérance... ".

3d human with a red question mark

Ah yes. The Rise & Toys RT-01 Robot Rose, the figure that begs to answer the question "How much better would my life be if MP Arcee had a proper chest?".

Well, turns out there's some ups and downs, and no, I'm not talking about the jiggling.

Because sadly these are not silicone boobs.

So to start off, if you're not sure, YES, this is a knock off of the MP Arcee release from a few years back. To save myself a bunch of writing, it's suffice to say it's not as good as the official release, but it can do probably 80 - 90% of what it is supposed to do.

Highlights of the stuff that is a total miss is paint, the inability to hold weapons, and my favourite, an instruction manual that literally leaves you half way there.

But the parts are all there, including the die cast content, and the plastic quality doesn't seem to be off by much, if any. It's more the colour amongst the pinks can be inconsistent. Articulation is exactly the same until you decide to get crazy. Visor gimmick still works.

Before the main event, I just want to quickly point out the other major difference between this and the official MP - the face plates. I can't remember who made these, but they're closer to the animation model. There's another extra face that comes with their Nightbird release that is even more accurate.

The main event - the chest plates, which is probably the reason you bought this release. The original toy suffered from what would best be described as a sagging bust line, with Nightbird faring slightly better due to the long chin piece.

Well, this figure gives you the option of swapping out the original piece for one of two plates - one that gives the figure that classic look, but is definitely more flattering, and another that gives her the look of a pin up model.

Might as well go big, right?

The issue is that by attaching these chest plates, you lose use of her shoulder hinges, and basically won't be able to bring the arms across the chest... which if you think about it, makes sense given the size of the things.

Why do people who hate blame god?

The exhibition features the artworks from an interdisciplinary and culturally diverse group of architects/artists/designers investigating current and historical dilemmas facing new immigrants and political/religious refugees as well as their influences on local and global culture in everyday life and their complex relationship to artistic and cultural production. Each body of work represents a unique perception according to one’s individual expertise, experience, vision and culture identity.

The Lisbon Oceanarium’s conceptual design, architecture, and exhibit design was led by Peter Chermayeff and it is said to resemble an Aircraft carrier.

It houses a large collection of marine species — birds, mammals, fish, cnidaria, and other marine organisms totalling about 16,000 individuals of 450 species.

The main exhibit is a 1,000 m2 (11,000 sq ft), 5,000 m3 (180,000 cu ft) tank with four large 49 m2 (530 sq ft) acrylic windows on its sides, and smaller focus windows strategically located around it to make sure it is a constant component throughout the exhibit space. It is 7 m (23 ft) deep, which lets pelagic swimmers to swim above the bottom dwellers, and providing the illusion of the open ocean. The water in the central tank is kept at a temperature that will allow both temperate and tropical fish to live here. About 100 species from around the world are kept in this tank, including sharks, rays, tuna, barracudas, groupers, and moray eels. One of the main attractions is a large Sunfish.

Quote from December 12, 2006, in an interview on Skepticality.

INVISIBLE CITY by Yolibel Gonzalez

I got the idea very randomly. The question came into my head, “What if people were

homes?” I decided to do a collection of letters as if people were homes. It relates to

the theme of placemaking because people can make you feel like home and you can

find refuge in people. You can make place within a person. The people I wrote to

represent things in my life, which have made me feel at home or are supposed to make

me feel like home. They represent extreme emotions; it was a way for me to write and

explore my feelings. I do creative writing because it is the best way for me to explain

my feelings. I have five books, five chairs, and five pieces in each book---I wanted

there to be a feeling of balance. I intentionally didn’t use color, because I wanted to

create a serious mood. This is very different from other art pieces I have done.

I would like to give a special thank you to my mentors, Victoria Ruiz and Sarah

Greenfield, and to Dan for always listening. I would also like to give a special thanks

to anyone who takes the time to look at the exhibit.

Pyongyang is the capital of the DPRK and the centre of politics, the economy and culture.

As the cradle of the Taedonggang Culture, it has over 5 000-year-long history since Tangun, founder king, established Ancient Korea and set Pyongyang as its capital.

In spring Moran Hill, a "garden of the capital," is full of flowers and the picturesque Taedong River flows through the city centre. So Pyongyang is called a city in a park. Such surroundings make Pyo according to north korean guides. Pyongyang the "World Best Beauty".
