Cranberries that show signs of decay glow white underneath the UV light near the tail end of the process to determine whether cranberries from dry harvesting is fit to be packaged as fresh fruit at the Ocean Spray Northeast Packaging plant in Middleboro. Scratches on the skin of cranberries will also glow white and wiill be pulled out of the line since it will decay faster.
