On the Polesden Lacey Estate. Never noticed them here before or perhaps I never looked! There are about 40 flower spikes in the Cow meadow.

After the beautiful weather of the day before things really changed. The night was rain with gale force winds, the morning drizzle with strong winds and the afternoon just strong winds. I would love to get back here in the late afternoon but i went to the penguins instead. Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia.

The pyramid of Khafre on the Giza plateau is often mistaken for the Great Pyramid as it stands on slightly higher ground, giving it the appearance of being the largest of the three pyramids on the plateau.

Transformed into an almost otherworldly icon, the Transamerica Pyramid ascends from the heights of Nob Hill, floating in a vast, infinite space. Its golden facade glows with an inner energy—more than reflection, it radiates power. A beacon of architectural elegance and futuristic luxury, this is The Future We Want—not dystopian, but aspirational, a guiding force piercing through the void.
Taken on the way to Denver, from San Francisco. It took me some time to figure out which lake this was. I mean, come on, why were we flying so far north? Once I got it figured out, I realized I need to visit here. There are some cool photos of this place, on land of course. The lake has pyramid shaped rocks in it. It's not too far north of Reno. It's on my list to visit this autumn when it cools down and kids go back to school. You can search photos here on flickr and see how cool it is.

I've been at odds with this part of South Mountain for over 2 years, watching the sun breathe life into the landscape that's usually dull. I could never time it right where conditions met my fantasy. But it's time to say farewell and let the memories of south South Mountain linger on.
Pyramid Trail - The best trail for switchbacks in Maricopa County, with elevation gain of 1100 feet, reaching 2203 feet above sea level at the summit. Mountain biking paradise when the helicopter drops me off at the top.

The Pyramids of Teotihuacan are located 40 kilometres (25 miles) northeast of Mexico City. Teotihuacan is an enormous archaeological site containing some of the largest pyramidal structures built in the pre-Columbian Americas. Apart from the pyramidal structures, Teotihuacan is also known for its large residential complexes, the Avenue of the Dead, and numerous colorful, well-preserved murals.
The Pyramid of the Sun is 225 metres (738 feet ) across and 75 metres (246 feet) high, making it the third largest pyramid in the world behind the Great Pyramid of Cholula and the Great Pyramid of Giza.

65m tall the first pyramid you encounter when visiting Coba. I was taken with the architecture of the base structures around this pyramid. It is the second tallest at Coba no climbing is permitted on this and it is beside a perfectly preserved ballcourt. probably built during AD 600-900 during the classic Maya period before the Toltec arrived. Stella 11 is under the thatched roof. Coba was developed before Chitzen Itza and had an extensive network of white roads (raised fired limestone rock) that ran out 100km to the present site of Chitzen itza. the white roads were used to travel at night.
