100,000 highly trained gymnastics in brightly coloured costumes perform in perfect unison at the May Day Stadium, Pyongyang, North Korea with a backdrop created by 25,000 children holding up picture boards. This has to be the greatest show on earth!
This shot was taken in North-Korea where in front of Pyongyang Train station in Sept.96. I was complained by 2 police-women (below the left corner) as holding my camera within a minute. At the very beginning I was not allowed to leave until I said I was a visitor from China, and then they let me go. You know, even now no photo was allowed to their main-transport station/highway/citizen in village....... but I would like to do as much as I could.

江流经市中心。
因古时遍布柳树平壤又称“柳京”。平壤是传说中朝鲜民族的始祖檀君在前1122年建都的王俭城所在地，为朝鲜半岛历史最悠久的城市，有乙密台
、练光亭、大同门、普通门等年代久远的古迹。20世纪70、80年代，平壤进行了大规模的城市建设，兴建了主体思想塔、人民大学习堂、五一体
育场、平壤凯旋门等地标性建筑。
