Living in the middle of the city, pylons are quite a novelty to me!! This one is a few minutes walk from Matt's Rugby house, and in the distance you can see Mahle Engineering Systems, where he'll be working!!
Somewhere in the Surrey countryside the Pylons make their mark in the most rural of spots . This is a bridleway somewhere between Downside and Stoke d'Abernon as it passes over a small tributary - off of the River Mole .
The smaller ones at the front are just entering Coventry from the North.

Progress has not followed a straight ascending line, but a spiral with rhythms of progress.

Unable to resist the lure of all those stars glittering in that cold dark sky I headed out at 11pm for a hillside on the north side of The Kilpatricks and lay out on the ground counting shooting stars.
