Pyjama paraders have to kiss the bystanders. Just the way it's always been. Since the 1930's, anyhow. And the bystanders used to be stodgy old Westdale residents, not fellow students. But still - tradition is tradition, no matter how much has changed.

The organizers behind the rally said this about the parade in their announcement:
"Wake up and smell the oppression!
This is a celebration of women and feminism: Let's get on our jammies and tell people to wake up! Get on your costumes, radical cheerleading boots and skirts, bring instruments, chants, cheers, signs, banners--its a combo celebration/popular education."
Mens kurta pyjama are very elegant and comfortable outfits that are popular in the eastern countries. They come with a long shirt with front buttons and usually are embellished along the neckline. On the eve of a generous and stormy party, two men met for the first time.
