I find it amazing how hardy our early spring flowers can be, as shown by these Crocus flowers standing tall in the garden this morning despite the overnight covering of snow.

Take this fake that if you want to make it
Now, it's time that I speak my mind
You can't take that away
Cause you're a push off
I had a fun time posing for Trexy and watching her creating a new pose from scratch. If you need a pose for something special, she is the one to give a call.

Upon the prodding of his older sister, who seems to be just learning how to ride a bicycle, a young boy pushes it as energetically as he can, as shown in this photo taken along a village street in Subic, Zambales, Philippines.

Macro Monday's and the theme of "Magnetic".
For this weeks theme I had thought of "magnetic strip" on a card, "MagneticTape" remember those?
Eventually I remembered that I had a telescopic magnet for picking up metal things from hard-to-reaxh places. So here I decided to use it to arrange originally some paperclips but a quick check of the group showed a few photos with these in already so I decided to try to arrange some push pins and use these along with a Purple background.

First push and then pull. Removing a DVD from a DVD cover is a special challenge. A lot of coordination is required. Press in the middle with your index finger and then pull the DVD up on the edge with your thumb and ring finger. Fortunately, there are simpler methods today. I've looked through many DVD cover for the task, there are a large number of shapes and mounts. This DVD cover even says PUSH on it.
The DVD cover was illuminated from behind in color for the picture. An LED plant light was used as lighting from the front.

My roommate messaged me after I had begun working on my next set of photos and told me to grab my camera. He had discovered what he describes as a cool bug. I came out with my camera and saw the thing and realized, this would be an excellent moment to try macro photography with my extension tubes for the first time. I had bought a set of them last year and had never put them to use.... suddenly as I began working out how to get the photo setting up my little cube lights out to illuminate the beetle I was problem solving. Of course I had to dress up the scene, bring it in the house for a few moments and enjoy a few minutes of photography late in the evening. Enjoy my little encounter with the Grapevine Beetle, also known as the June Beetle!

.....actually no, it was just me trying to make shit up very late at night.
It's too late and I'm too socially confused to try to write anything, so goodnight my friends. Just one question, which could help me if the answer is as I'm hoping....Is it OK to get home from Cricket Training at 2am smelling of beer?
