With the mandatory water conservation rules in effect, Nashville folks need to find a way to use 50% less water. We only had 2 water treatment plants, and one was compromised in the floods. Water use is approved for sanitation and cooking only.
With that, our office went out and bought a case of Purell hand sanitizer to put in all of the bathrooms in our complex. We of course put a big message on them too to remind people to be conscience of their water usage. Nobody wants to have the water plant shut down, then we will all be in a world of hurt.
Every little bit helps, right :D
Cruise industry is so afraid of norovirus that even at their trade show they bath in anti-norovirus gells - funded by Purell Hand Sanitizer!
So I'm trying to figure out what products in my Zombie Survival kit will have information displayed.
I figure the map and scout book will contain most of the levels but probably need some spread across the other items. Thoughts anybody?
Here are some of my other items in the kit.
- Glow Sticks
- Matches
- 6oz bottle of water
- Purell
- Ear Plugs
- Compass
- Bandaids
This is what the floors in my house are covered in. In case it's not obvious, that's the barf that splattered up onto our scale when my 2 year old barfed for the 4th time today. Those are his little cars shoes in the background.
I have avoided big playdates for the last month because we have 3 children under 3 that aren't sleeping well yet.
I think after this we won't be out in groups larger than 2 or 3 for the next couple of months.
Thursday I made the mistake of bringing my kids out. Friday night, my 7 month old started projectile vomiting. Saturday morning at 3:00 my husband brought her to the ER. They said just let it pass and gave her some pedialyte.
I have been making everyone use the purell like crazy. Today my other 7 month old started projectile vomiting and this afternoon the 2 year old.
I just wanted to thank any of the mom's out their that bring their "partially" sick kids to big playdates for all of the barf, lack of sleep, tears and sad faces.
I have some reservations that this object might actually be too dazzlingly pink for the human eye to handle, or appreciate.
Just a few of my most favorite things in the whole world.
I used a 18-55 mm lens with on camera flash. My next photography purchase will be a bounce flash.

So I was browsing around the mall with Naomi today, and FYE had this amaaazing Calvin candy holder. I didn't buy it for the candy though. ;)
This is a purell image transfer from magicjet onto paper I made (cotton rag left over from printing projects.)
Our spread. Honestly a thoroughly enjoyable dinner. Along with our view of the lake, we munched on Breton crackers, tuna pouches, some hard salami and cheese, and a quite large and quite bitter grapefruit. Purell hand sanitizer for cleanup.

Overexposed, but besides that, any critique? composition improvements, etc.. are always welcome
On Monday night the pump broke, and the camp had no running water from the wells. Tuesday morning we woke up to the prospect of importing water in the "water camels"--trucks with big tanks of water, but moved through breakfast towards lunch with what was in our water bottles and coolers. Since we couldn't wash our hands after the "biffy" we used Purell, the waterless hand sanitizer. Shortly before lunch a new $1600 pump was installed. During the camp walkabout a cheer was heard from the direction of the pump house, and everyone correctly surmised the cause. This was the first happy hand washing with well water!

So you know all that day I was like "Damn there are like hundreds of pen-worthy seagull quills washed up all over this beach! I will gather them up and take some home!" I got bored with that project pretty quickly, and then when we came to the Secret Seagull Death Grounds I wanted to hurl and scrub my hands. I guess I was able to pretend that maybe hundreds of seagulls had just molted, rather than those quills all being from dead animals. Remind me to keep Purell in my pockets at all times!
I have a sculpture in the Minnesota state fair fine art show so last night we went to the opening reception. The good news is that my sculpture is in a prime spot right by the entrance. The best news is that I got the fake fern treatment! Love it!, only at the state fair.
