Butter on a summer day
When she's around
I was on the tracks
When the gates came down
When suddenly I recognized
Those bloodshot rearview mirror eyes as mine
And I heard that whistle call my name
And I almost drove away
But Megan I had a feeling that you would be on that train
So I just waited there for you
Caught a ride to another town
Where the air was clean
And the sun never goes down
Everyone was standing in a line
Between the landing and the stairs
I heard somebody call my name
I almost climbed the stairs
But Megan I had a feeling that someday you'd meet me there
So I just waited there for you
"Megan" by Bayside.

I am thankful for eMiLy....this wonderful..funny...creative...talented girl...you would never know by looking at her or hearing her sweet sweet voice that she suffers so bad from panic and anxiety...if we saw inside her 17 year old body..I know that all we would see is a bunch or wires sparking and flying all over the place...she called from school yesterday and wanted me to come get her...for the first time ever...I had to tell her that she needed to breathe deep...lay down in the nurse's office for a few minutes and see if she could manage...after using purell about 5 million times and having the staff look at her like she was crazy...she went back to class....she was still on edge when she got home and she wasnt mad at me anymore....but...those are the days that make me feel like the worse mother in the world...I will survive..I will survive.
This is her desk chair that she works on..off and on....if you know her and you look at the chair and the things she puts on it...you can see her life...sometimes I look at it and I am really sad...sometimes it makes me laugh...she almost always makes me laugh at least once a day!!!!
Can you believe it? People brought actual toilets and mattresses. Crazy. If I did it again, I'd carry purell, gloves, lysol, and febreze with me.

“I’m learning a lot of different jobs to get more experience.” – Charles Williamson, Goodwill program participant working in the Contract Services Division
Charles Williamson began practicing his work skills in the Goodwill Contract Services Division in November 2009. “I’m learning to get along with my co-workers and how to clock in and clock out.” Tony Petak, who also works in the division, will tell you about a similar experience. “People are friendly here. I am trying new things and learning people skills.” Both Charles and Tony have ambitions to find competitive work in the community. Charles would like to be employed as a janitor, and Tony is working toward a position where he could work with animals.
In 2009, Goodwill program participants practiced their work skills on projects within the Contract Services Division, totaling over 27,800 hours. With a commitment to customer service, quality products, cost savings and timely production, the division maintains contracts with many locally based businesses like GOJO Industries, Inc.
GOJO is the leading global producer and marketer of skin health and hygiene solutions for away-from-home settings. Based in Akron, Ohio with facilities in North America, South America, Europe and Asia, the company’s portfolio includes hand cleaning, handwashing, hand sanitizing and skin care formulas under the GOJO®, PURELL® and PROVON® brand names. Since 2005, GOJO has been a loyal Goodwill customer, providing program participants with packaging and assembly projects to help them learn new work skills. Participants like Charles and Tony count out 24 retractables for each package and seal them for shipping. As a result, the GOJO products are finished on-time and on-budget, and the revenue earned is used to support Goodwill’s mission of helping individuals prepare for, find and retain employment.
“It’s not just Goodwill. It’s good business.” Goodwill Contracts Services provides a local outsourcing solution paired with a skilled and efficient workforce to complete projects in assembling, packaging, collation and mailing, die-cutting, de-manufacturing, sorting, inspection, re-work, and industrial sewing. The Goodwill Retail Stores and these business-to-business services are just a couple of the ways Goodwill funds its employment and training programs.
Our CEO delivered Lysol disinfectant wipes to our offices today as senior management continues to develop a formal response to the Coronavírus pandemic.
In Bearden, boredom is a frequent state. My little sister being rather sedate when she wants to be, I amused myself with her hair. Atop her head are Virginia Slims (my mom smokes those poles of a cigarette), a lighter, a kitchen clip, a flat-head screwdriver, Purell hand cleanser, and a pen. Afterwards we talked about Foxy Brown.

this was a weird room filled with mattresses and tire shaped pillows. the kids in here were going nuts. every minute or so a weird three note chime would sound from a wall speaker. after m went in i started wondering how they clean the place and then i thought about all the germs. . . i gave her a purell bath afterwards.
The LB office in Wa, Ghana is also where Andy often lives and is where Cliff have been sleeping when they were in Wa . It has no running water or toliet; just an outhouse with a hole in the ground.
This is a reminder that getting people to wash their hands with soap sounds simple until you think about how inconvenient it is when there is no running water, and when fresh buckets of water require a lot of effort and aren’t always where you want them to be. Ayva and Cliff are at least lucky to have Purell to help, but that’s not an option for anyone else there.

Elizabeth Fink has been using the new composting toilets near the Wissahickon Environmental Center (formerly Andorra Tree House) at the northwestern edge of Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. It never smells, she says and there's Purell for hand sanitizing. She thinks it's a big improvement over the old "Johnn(ies) on the Spot". She's careful that her cell phone is in a zipped pocket, however, lest it inadvertently fall into the pit! She and a companion had been taking a walk in the woods and recommended I check out the toads mating in the pond above the tree house. Watch video here
Hand sanitizers, such as Purell, are an excellent example of public health in our daily lives. The presence of a hand sanitizer dispenser is a preventative measure taken to halt the spread of bacteria and other various germs from person to person, by providing an easy and quick way to disinfect your hands. Typical hand sanitizers kill 99.9% of the bacteria on hands within 30 seconds, and even more after one minute. Having clean hands is always important, but especially so in densely populated places such as a college dorm, where the dispenser pictured above is located.

yes i have alot of lip stuff. i am obsessed.
Some sort of condensation inside a Purell container. Hmmm... a little grainy, but I guess it still works.
I made a pit stop after walking through the farm. Didn't notice the glasses on the way in. Couldn't miss them on the way out. Hard to imagine who could.
My brother-in-law John gave this to me. He is a Nurse in Boston. This is a bottle of Purell attached to an extender. There is a clip on the back to attach to your belt. All you do is pull on the bottle and it extends from the hip via this small pulley system. That way, the sanitizer never leaves your side, and it doesn't get lost! LOL!!! This is my shot of the day.
Taken with a Canon SD800.
Strobist: One daylight balanced large ball of fire. Full power, 93,000,000 miles away. One sb26 fired through an umbrella at 1/64 power, cam left. You can barely see the tiny speck of fill, but it's there (though I can only see it when compared to one where the flash didn't fire. I'm counting it anyway). Skyport fired.
The purell bottle was on the floor and light was coming through the window so I decided to take a picture.
The floor is dirty. I have since cleaned it up. Unfortunately, it will not stay that way for too long.
With the mandatory water conservation rules in effect, Nashville folks need to find a way to use 50% less water. We only had 2 water treatment plants, and one was compromised in the floods. Water use is approved for sanitation and cooking only.
With that, our office went out and bought a case of Purell hand sanitizer to put in all of the bathrooms in our complex. We of course put a big message on them too to remind people to be conscience of their water usage. Nobody wants to have the water plant shut down, then we will all be in a world of hurt.
Every little bit helps, right :D
Cruise industry is so afraid of norovirus that even at their trade show they bath in anti-norovirus gells - funded by Purell Hand Sanitizer!
This is what the floors in my house are covered in. In case it's not obvious, that's the barf that splattered up onto our scale when my 2 year old barfed for the 4th time today. Those are his little cars shoes in the background.
I have avoided big playdates for the last month because we have 3 children under 3 that aren't sleeping well yet.
I think after this we won't be out in groups larger than 2 or 3 for the next couple of months.
Thursday I made the mistake of bringing my kids out. Friday night, my 7 month old started projectile vomiting. Saturday morning at 3:00 my husband brought her to the ER. They said just let it pass and gave her some pedialyte.
I have been making everyone use the purell like crazy. Today my other 7 month old started projectile vomiting and this afternoon the 2 year old.
I just wanted to thank any of the mom's out their that bring their "partially" sick kids to big playdates for all of the barf, lack of sleep, tears and sad faces.
