This boy was watching a balloon toy figure being made for him. I've rarely seen such joy on anyone's face. At the farmers' market in Lansdowne Park, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Just before takeoff to a long vacation (without paper folding for a month!), I made this model for the contest.
It can be tessellated, and I even did that, but it still needs to be refined first before it can be presented.

My Sony 50mm F1.8 prime arrived this afternoon. Initial test shots show it to be a bit soft on AF. But pretty sharp in low light once switched to MF. I'm a bit spoiled by a Canon 50mm F1.2 L.
