I'm a jerk and I cannot remember the names of the woman on the left and the guy on the right, but Scruff is in the middle. Amazing woman who ran the main punk warehouse space in the mid nineties. Actually, ALL the punks we met in NZ were just brilliant folx all around.
2008 Update: The woman on the left is named Kalya/Kalia (sp?!) and I forgot to ask dear Ross how to spell it when I was grilling him on the 'Where are they now' status of many NZ punks last week as he drove us around the North Island. Still don't know the name of the guy on the right. I am still a jerk. I HEART New Zealand!!!

A hedgehog is any of the spiny mammals of the subfamily Erinaceinae, which is in order Erinaceomorpha. There are seventeen species of hedgehog in five genera, found through parts of Europe, Asia, Africa and New Zealand (by introduction). There are no hedgehogs native to Australia, and no living species native to the Americas. Hedgehogs share distant ancestry with shrews (family Soricidae), with gymnures possibly being the intermediate link, and have changed little over the last 15 million years.[2] Like many of the first mammals they have adapted to a nocturnal,[3] insectivorous way of life. Hedgehogs' spiny protection resembles that of the unrelated rodent porcupines and monotreme echidnas.
The name hedgehog came into use around the year 1450, derived from the Middle English heyghoge, from heyg, hegge ("hedge"), because it frequents hedgerows, and hoge, hogge ("hog"), from its piglike snout.[4] Other names include urchin, hedgepig and furze-pig.

Saturday was the day I started looking for cosplayers at Heroes Con, and of course I managed to find a great Harley Quinn pretty quickly. If there are two things you can be sure to see at any con these days, it's a Deadpool and and a Harley.
This one Harley, who goes by Jacey Julep, not only put together this great costume, but actually came as a female version of The Joker on Sunday (which I missed). You can check out some of her her other cosplay photos on her Facebook page: www.facebook.com/jaceyjulep?_rdr=p
