Here is my contribution to the show in which I made all the character round portraits and then put them together into this one piece. I’ve also included Mr. Dream who replaced Tyson when the game was reprinted many years later.
I’ve replicated the orignal 8bit sprites into more detailed artwork while also keep the overall look and feel while adding a few tweaks here and there to bring out the best of the overall character design.

The show is currently open and runs from the 17th of March to the 1st of April at Gallery 1988 WEST, Los Angeles, CA.

Ett Super Punch-Out!! på Dyrehavsbakken i norra Köpenhamn. Fullt fungerande, men joysticken är något trög.
I combined Pink Paislee's Butterfly Garden Wood Shapes, their Daily Junque papers, and their Hometown Summer's punchouts, press ons and alphas to create this page.
I miss my little Kati's chubby rolls! For those of you with babies, cherish every moment - it goes by much too fast.

Materials: Background (corrugated card received as goodie); blue punchout plant from Jodie (Thanks!); potted plant sticker; kimono and obi (yuzen washi); fan paper cutout; yellow ribbon on hair (silk string).
Speaker spotted on a gas pump. I like to imagine all the dialogue that comes out is a footnote to some other conversation.
