Partial dissection of an owl pellet

Actual conversation when I purchased this owl pellet (at the Sieberling Nature Realm gift shop):

Cashier: Are you a science teacher?

Me: Nope. Are science teachers the only people who buy the owl pellets?

Cashier: Yes -- well, and boys. Boys love those things.
