One of the new GP33ECO units leads an autorack transfer from Hapeville to Inman Yard. The NS #4715 is former Southern Railway high hood GP50 #7055 built in October 1980 and rebuilt into the 4715 in January 2015. The GP33ECO's have a turbocharged 12 cylinder 710 engine and is rated for 3300 horsepower.
Arriving from the Carrier CVA-66, the USS America, US Navy Grumman F-14A Tomcat-80 Bu.Aer No.159434/AE100 with VF-143 'Puking Dogs' Squadron, displayed in the static line-up at the IAT held at RAF Greenham Common in August 1976.
Along with the photo of the A-7 Corsair II I posted previously, both an A-6 Intruder and another Tomcat (see below) performed a flying display there that year. Imagine that happening now!

A VERY choppy trip, for about 8 hours left many folks like this kid inside the cabin wishing they'd stayed shore-bound. Not everyone is born with sea-legs I guess.

History:
Sid “Puke” Adams is as nasty as his nickname suggests. He was given the nickname by his uncle Bart “Burp” Adams, who helped raise Sid in the poorest slums of the city known as Snotsville. His uncle acquainted Sid to the more dishonest ways of life on the streets. From there, Puke would become part of a gang of hooligans and terrorize the neighborhood. It was here that he met Roxanne Kardoni and the two of them would become inseparable. Their violent love for chaos would get them caught in a number of bad situations. On one such instance, the two of them would be involved in an accident that would forever change their lives. Sid became covered in an acidic chemical that began to eat away his flesh. Instead of killing him however, the chemical combined with his own DNA. He was now a walking, living pool of acid. His touch can corrode metals, wood, flesh, etc. His composition makes him invulnerable to diseases, gases, and poisons while being able to resist fire, heat, metals and physical attacks. The acid may be breaking down his body, but he has heard of a certain doctor in New Brickton that knows a thing or two about corrosion. Puke has gone from back alley bully to apex thug in New Blok’s poorest neighborhood. His volatile violence is a hazard only New Blok City’s bravest can contain.
