An article published in Boy's Life, the official magazine of the Boy Scouts of America (Cub Scout Edition); Two activities published in Children's Better Health Institute magazines.
This morning we had a photosession for a LP vinyl cover comisioned by the music label American Typewriter Records. Hoping to see soon this white colour vinyl of the swiss band Vargas. At the end of the summer will be available for purchasing.
The design of the work is being made by the studio Sopa Graphics.
One of my lightning photographs from an electrical storm in August of 2008 was chosen by Popular Photography's website popphoto.com to be featured in an article on how to shoot lightning.
As of the date of publication (09/30/2009) it is also featured on their homepage as one of the most recent articles. Its nice getting "published" at least on the site, not sure if this will appear in the magazine itself yet.

During the Great War the Illustrated Chronicle published photographs of soldiers and sailors from Newcastle and the North East of England, which had been in the news. The photographs were sent in by relatives and give us a glimpse into the past.
The physical collection held by Newcastle Libraries comprises bound volumes of the newspaper from 1910 to 1925. We are keen to find out more about the people in the photographs. If you recognize anyone in the images and have any stories and information to add please comment below.
This is a collection of every issue of the Stanford Daily that has used a photo that was taken by me. In all, I've had over 115 photos published in about 70 issues since January 16, 2008.
From top to bottom, the issues are: those that contained my photos in the interior, those that had my photos below the fold on the front page, those that had my photos above the fold on the front page, and those that had my photos both above and below the fold on the front page.
Can you spot the two pairs of photos that were on the front page twice?

This Silver Fox was photo'd in Kankakee, IL this past November. To my knowledge, it hasn't been seen since. Lucky me! I've been saving this photo to share since then, and am proud to have it displayed state-wide. Other photos of this fox can be seen in these sets: Foxes, Oddities, 2010.

Onstage Awards – The Party celebra il grande successo dell’edizione 2015. Oltre 500.000 voti del pubblico e le preferenze di una giuria di addetti ai lavori hanno decretato i vincitori dei 16 premi dedicati ai migliori performer ed eventi live dell’anno.
Cesare Cremonini sarà al Fabrique per ritirare i premi vinti agli Onstage Awards Party: Migliore Artista italiano, Miglior Tour e Inno live dell’anno con Logico #1. Durante la serata si esibiranno nomi caldi della scena italiana e internazionale. I belgi Balthazar (della scuderia PIAS e già in tour con gli Editors nel 2014) che suoneranno per la prima volta in Italia i brani dell’album Thin Walls – in uscita il 30 marzo. Sul palco del Fabrique ci sarà anche Zibba, che presenterà in anteprima il suo nuovo singolo Muoviti svelto, anticipazione dell’omonimo album previsto per il 31 marzo. Guest star della serata, i Negrita. La rock band toscana presenterà il nuovo album 9 suonando per la prima volta dal vivo il nuovo singolo Il gioco. Come ha scritto Pau su Facebook, un’electro-anteprima di quello che porteranno sul palco durante il tour di aprile. Dopo tanto live, sarà il dj set di Boosta (tastierista e co-fondatore dei Subsonica) ad animare la serata.

Salutava sempre è il titolo dello show live con il quale Alessandro Cattelan debutta a teatro; per la seconda data milanese è al Teatro degli Arcimboldi il 30 novembre 2022.
Gli special opening act del tour di Alessandro Cattelan sono affidati agli stand-up comedian Salvo di Paola, Yoko Yamada e Stefano Rapone.
Un debutto teatrale davvero speciale, si direbbe unico: il pubblico è invitato a partecipare al funerale di Alessandro Cattelan, dove partire per raccontare dall’aldilà le follie, le ipocrisie e le piccole manie che contraddistinguono le nostre vite ordinarie nell’aldiquà. Canzoni, stand-up, momenti di show, battute e interazione con il pubblico in questa festa per chiedersi insieme “cosa succede dopo?” e anche “cosa fare prima?”. Un one-man show, il primo di Cattelan, dove il protagonista ci racconta con il suo inconfondibile tono ironico e dissacrante, il suo sguardo su un mondo di cui ormai non fa più parte e dove, con la morte, si è guadagnato il privilegio della totale sincerità.
Salvo di Paola, classe ’95, ha lavorato come macchinista, operatore, aiuto regia, art director e altre parole altisonanti nell’ambito audiovisivo. Nel 2017 co-fonda lo studio di animazione Basaricò, scoprendo che i cartoni animati sono più facili da fare perché i puppet, a differenza degli attori, non pretendono il caffè. Da giugno 2021 racconta cose occasionalmente divertenti per pochi spiccioli (autodefinendosi “stand-up comedian”).
Yoko Yamada, classe 1993, è nata e cresciuta a Brescia da padre giapponese e madre italiana. Nel 2012 si trasferisce a Venezia per studiare all'università e nel 2018 e si avvicina alla stand-up comedy. Trovate i suoi pezzi comici su Comedy Central, Comedy Central Rehab e dal vivo, nel suo spettacolo integrale "Pizza sul gelato". Yoko Yamada è rappresentata da Ovolollo Factory: la Factory creativa milanese che scopre e lancia nuovi comici e nuovi autori televisivi.
Stefano Rapone è uno stand up comedian italiano. Collabora come autore con il Trio Medusa. Ha partecipato ai programmi TV "Battute?" su Rai 2, "Mai Dire Talk" con la Gialappa's Band su Italia1, "Natural Born Comedians", "Stand Up Comedy" e "CCN - Comedy Central News" su Comedy Central (SKY) e "Una Pezza di Lundini" su Rai2. Si distingue per una comicità monotono che si scontra invece con la violenza delle critiche che il comico rivolge verso sé stesso e verso il mondo. Scrive e disegna fumetti quali "Marco Travaglio Zombi" e "Natale a Gotham" ed all'attivo due spettacoli di stand up comedy. Il suo Special "Spettacolo Annullato" è disponibile in esclusiva su TheComedyClub.it.
Stefano Rapone e Salvo di Paola sono rappresentati da The Comedy Club. Fondata nel 2019, The Comedy Club è oggi l'agenzia italiana leader del settore Stand Up Comedy.

There are still localized feed shortages in pockets of the province but timely rains later in the summer seem to have taken the edge off of feed shortages that have dogged cattle producers the past two seasons.

METALFEST 2012 è il festival itinerante che quest'anno toccherà ben 7 nazioni europee, ovvero Italia, Austria, Svizzera, Germania, Repubblica Ceca, Croazia e Polonia in un tourbillon metallico che invaderà l'Europa dal 31 Maggio al 10 Giugno 2012.
Gli Anthrax sono un gruppo musicale speed/thrash metal statunitense, fondato a New York nel 1981 dal chitarrista Scott Ian e dal bassista Dan Lilker. Sono noti come i capofila del loro genere e grazie al successo dei loro primi lavori, sono considerati uno dei gruppi "big four" del thrash metal, accanto a Metallica, Slayer e Megadeth.
In carriera dopo aver fortemente influenzato il thrash metal con i loro primi tre lavori, con il passare degli anni hanno tentato di modificare il loro stile musicale, a partire dalla pubblicazione del singolo I'm the Man, inglobando anche elementi rap nel tentativo di stare al passo coi tempi. Il gruppo è anche considerato uno dei primi ad aver lanciato il genere rap metal.

It was posted at Sand Hill Camp on the 6th. February 1916 to:

Laura Cottage,
Hazlegrove Road,
Haywards Heath,
Sussex.
The pencilled message on the back of the card was as follows:
"Our village.
Percy".
Sand Hill Camp was used in the Great War to accommodate infantry troops.
So what else happened on the day that the card was posted?
Well, on Sunday the 6th. February 1916, aircraft from the Imperial Russian Navy sank the Ottoman collier Irmingard. It was the largest ship to be sunk by air attack during the Great War.

Sabato 8 giugno 2013 nell’Arena concerti di Rho Fiera ha avuto luogo uno degli appuntamenti più importanti di quest’estate per i fan dell’heavy metal, ovvero il festival Sonisphere 2013, con la partecipazione di ben sette formazioni fra le quali, gruppo di punta, gli Iron Maiden.
Ghost B.C. sono una vera band di culto, nata a Stoccolma nel 2008 e capace di attirare l’attenzione con un solo disco. Nel 2013 esce però l’attesissimo secondo lavoro: i due misteriosi membri fondatori (dai fantastici nomi Papa Emeritus II e Nameless Ghouls) saranno ben lieti di proporre i nuovi brani, attirando anche i non-fedeli grazie al loro look decisamente eccentrico (e, sì, ‘papale’).
Ovviamente lo show al festival sarà diverso, sia per il minutaggio ridotto, sia per il fatto (quasi inedito) che il gruppo suonerà alla luce del giorno. Uno dei Nameless Ghoul, durante l’intervista esclusiva con Soundsblog, non si era detto spaventato dalla sfida:
“Suonare di giorno chiaramente non è la stessa cosa, ma un paio di volte l’abbiamo già fatto e sappiamo che può funzionare. Fortunatamente non siamo una band solo teatrale, abbiamo anche una musica più che buona da far ascoltare, quindi anche se la scenografia è meno d’impatto, la musica rimane la stessa, e si spera che sia la musica ad attirare la gente. Per tutto il resto, vale il discorso che facevo prima riguardo alle band con cui suoniamo ai festival: vogliamo raggiungere il maggior numero possibile di persone, e se per farlo dobbiamo a volte suonare di giorno, è sempre meglio che non suonare del tutto.”
