I go to type in this box, but I really don't know what to put. I'm changing and growing faster than and in new ways but I'm also falling back, like everything I do is two steps forward, three steps back.
Mostly I guess I'm trying and putting more effort into community and connections than I have before, and its making me really happy.

For the 2010 model year, Ford introduced the SVT Raptor model of the F-150. Intended for dedicated off-road use, the Raptor has a number of modifications to improve its off-road ability. It includes a full set of FOX shocks with 11.2" of front suspension travel and 12.1" of rear travel. It wears a wider body and fenders than the standard F-Series truck. In a departure from the F-150, the Raptor wears no blue-oval Ford emblem on its grille (for the first time since 1982); instead, the grille has "F-O-R-D" spelled out in the center. In 2011, a full four-door SuperCrew model was added to the standard 2+2 door SuperCab model.
The Raptor is powered by a 411 hp 6.2 L V8 (shared with the Ford Super Duty); it is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
As I was walking past the ship, someone parked his car near the bow, providing scale to this monster.

Located at the upper part of a gorge, deeply into the shadows, hidden from the sun, hikers -during the hot summertime- can bathe by the two small natural ponds seen at the base, into freezing water.
Love this place.

Matt caught more than enough fish to feed our camp with enough left over to help out some backpackers in the valley who only had dried food. At one spot offshore, he saw more fish than anywhere else he's dived in Hawaii.

We Are Made One with What We Touch and See
We are resolved into the supreme air,
We are made one with what we touch and see,
With our heart's blood each crimson sun is fair,
With our young lives each spring impassioned tree
Flames into green, the wildest beasts that range
The moor our kinsmen are, all life is one, and all is change.

Over the beach, on final for naval Air Station, North Island. The venerable Grummans are slated to be replaced by CMV-22 Ospreys. The Navy has already started buying Ospreys, and they will be phased in 2020-2026.
Until his retirement in 2020, Peter Leask grandson of the founder John Leask & Son of Lerwick, had been the leading provider of public transport on the Shetland Isles. At its close, the company operated a modern fleet of buses and coaches on an island three times larger than the Isle of Wight but with a much smaller population. This Duple-bodied Dennis Javelin is from an earlier period and pre-dates the Disability Discrimination Act requirement that effectively mandated the use of low-floor buses on stage carriage services. This digital representation is based on a similarly-bodied Volvo B10M and may not be correct in every detail (13-Sep-25).

Daddy bluebird has been very busy lately feeding five hungry hatchlings. One morning he found some flying ants swarming out of this tree stump in my back yard. He went back and forth and back and forth, picking up as many bugs as he could carry before heading back to the nest box.
In the past, the male bluebird has always been more shy than the female. I have a hard time getting close enough for shots like this. But this day he didn't seem to mind me...probably because he couldn't resist the bugs and the easy meal they offered. I sat on the deck steps and took pics!
