Prostate Cancer UK, Bristol March for Men, Blaise Castle Estate, Bristol. Sunday 17th June 2018

Below is a message from the Leadership students about their Prostate Cancer Fundraising initiatives. They are doing a terrific job!

Attached is a photo of the students of David Thompson Secondary School who took part in Blue Day on Wednesday the 21 of November.

Blue Day was a way for students to show their support for Prostate Cancer Research. Since many could not take part in growing out mustaches for Movember, the Leadership students took action by making a Blue Day which was just another way of showing everyone's support. Many students took part in this day which made it a big success. The leadership students Sammy Tyrrell, Layla Chouchene and Grace Webber, have been organizing fundraisers, such as bake sales, and selling boxer shorts supplied by the Canadian Cancer Society to raise funds for this important cause. The team raised over $200.
