The official ride for The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in Göteborg 2014. DGR is a community and charity event that brings together riders of classic styled machines and dapper to raise money and awareness into men's health issues. The individual rides are organised by volunteers in each city.
On Thursday, March 26, 2015, GH MRFD Sonny Rattan (right) presented Peter Hollihn of OLG Casino Brantford (left) with a plaque to say Thank You for the continued and generous support of the Ride For Dad.
OLG Casino Brantford, graciously offered playing cards which were used in the Motorcycle Poker Run and gift bags.

Sunday 15th October 2017. By rights I should not be here. My consultant gave me approx six months, around March!
Today, my son (Brian 41) sent me a text message informing me that he has been to have his prostate gland checked by his GP and all is well. That's a massive relief for all of the family.
About a week ago me and Julie were sitting down weeding our lock-block driveway. I was surprised that I could get that far down. But we got the job done over two days. On day three my left hip and thigh were absolutely 'stoonin' with pain and I could barely walk. A few days later we attended a concert in Glasgow. A friend of ours (Richard) drove us down and back. The concert was two and a half hours long, but I sat through it quite comfortably. Since that day the pain has dropped considerably, but I have to be really careful getting up out of seats and my initial few steps. Tomorrow, we go to my GP to see about a steppy up in my pain relief. I feel incredibly lucky to still be here and I'm cheekily looking forward to Christmas.
As from 17th October 2017, my medication includes 50mg Diclofenac Sodium three times a day.
This is the second NHS bed that I've had delivered to my house in less than a year. This one has full air mattress and a support handle.
Julie has now taken over responsibility of setting out my daily tablets, as they become more numerous and complicated.

The north wind boiling the broth
whipping the water into froth.
On the shore the waters slapped
Frozen, crystalline: ice wrapped
Around each stem a freezing band
A cold column of ice: a frozen gland.
Erect, proud, contradicting biology
An alternate crystal world of sexuality.
A world without desire: so cold.
A penice frozen, but still bold.
I embrace this world, I empathise
And will not let my sexuality demise.
