Proportion and corruption plates upcycled Figgjo plates by Anthony Quinn

Proportion, also known as scale, involves the relationship of size between objects. Scale gives a sense of smallness or largeness and can add to the perception of depth. Proportion is using the size of an object to give it more or less importance. The image below, shows the size of the coat as dramatically greater than the space and head of the model, thus giving it importance.

-This photograph best represents an example of proportion because it depicts the two Hawaiian instruments of varying sizes showing the relation of sizes between the two instruments. The relation of proportion that are between these two instruments create and direct a focus for the audience to look towards these two instruments. For this image I did not require a tri-pod for this particular image because the shutter speed was 1/100.
