I wish the background wasn't so busy in this photo, as it takes away from the main subjects. I should have taken it off to the side where there weren't as many trees and such around.

The PROPORTION of the slice to the rest of the watermelon makes it appear impossible for both to be parts of the same whole.

This image investigates the Principle of Design for proportion. It is represented in the picture through the hand being compared to the buildings.

1.) The lock on which the camera focuses looks much bigger then the other locks in the photo, even though they are relatively the same size.

2.) How well the locks seem to line up.

Page 121 also shows the proportion of red, blue, and yellow. This proportion is 4,9,3 respectably. I like the cluster of these items together and their height difference.

1) This image reflects proportion because of the comparison between the big cheese grater and the tiny cheese grater.
