ANTI BLADE FLY OFF ANCHORAGE SYSTEM

This is a wind turbine blade getting trucked down the highway. The sawtooth of the trailing edge of the blade is curious. It is only on the outermost 1/2 or 1/3.

This is the propeller from the Motor Life Boat used to rescue 32 seamen from the Tanker Pendleton in 1952. The propeller is now mounted on a boulder above Coast Guard Beach in Chatham, Massachusetts.

This is Jay dancing with a red chair in our cool room at Propeller Island. Each room is designed by the owner / manager Lars Stroschen who is an artist and musician. This room is the Flying Bed room. The floor is tilted at 45 degrees and the bed is "flying" off the floor. It was fun. I was afraid we were going to come home drunk and fall down - it didn't happen (the falling down part anyway).
