A few of these girls will be leaving "Dia's World" soon and I just wanted to redress them to prove to them that they weren't bought just for their clothing!
I wonder if they believe me......
I was thinking of getting one of those wrap around canvas prints. Here is the proof of concept. I am almost happy with it. Man, you can fiddle with this stuff 'til the cows come home, and this is just a 'draft'!

This is Bubbles, a full grown Eagle Owl sitting on the floor in Southend High Street. She wasn't by herself, her keeper was there along with his other Owl (a Little Owl).
I love the size of her feet....
And this shot is for my lovely contact FINNTASIA, as he didnt seem to believe me :D
Ya, only old guys got one of these.
The We're Here group is sampling Beatle Stuff
... and don't worry you younglings, they were a noisy, mop-headed bunch of reprobates who sang out shrill lyrics and defied the social norm.
The Oregon dunes along the Southern Coast are home to variety of wildlife including fox, deer, elk and black bear. I'm sure they most reside within the forested areas, but we did finds the tracks of a four legged friend out for an afternoon jaunt.
At first I thought they were dog tracks, but if they ran up or down the hill there would be return tracks? Where are the foot prints of the owner? Also, I wouldn't think that most dogs would be so fleet of foot as to leave these nicely defined prints. I'm no expert in wildlife tracking, but a fox would be my guess.

The male Red-Winged Blackbirds arrived at my feeders in Troy, New York, USA on February 27, 2017, but, today (March 8, 2017), I was, finally able to get a picture of one, including some epaulet display. Only the males have the red-orange shoulder patches. Here's a great article, describing them! www.allaboutbirds.org/interpreting-red-winged-blackbird-b...
I suppose I could have employed a flood light with a red gel on it, but I didn't do anything of the kind. No. Instead, I was sitting on a camp chair around a backyard fire pit and I was enjoying the glow of the fire, coals and flames projected onto the branches of the tree that was closest to the fire. Also closest to me. It made for a really cool scene, except it was all generated by fire. Can fire really be cool? Absolutely, and this is one of those instances.
For the record here, it was the evening before New Year's Eve
and a Christmas party which had been postponed was in the works. Indoors and outdoors, folks were in a festive mood, perhaps made a bit more so by the thirst and spirit-quenching holiday libations that were being passed about.
The moon and the single star were trying to push through a generally cloudy sky cover over the course of the evening, and they often made themselves viewable and available for portraits.
My big camera bag was back in the car, along with my trusty tripod, but too comfortable to get up, I made this and a dozen or so more captures with my trusty iPhone camera, alway able, handy and at the ready. My oh my, they have certainly come a long way with these smartphone cameras and lenses. And getting better and better each and every year. One of the world's finest inventions, these technical marvels. Along with flasks.
Found an exhibition print proof from 2012. Decided I liked it with the white border well enough to re-post it. Just about to get her face painted at a funfair, nearly a decade later this young lady is now doing very well at university. Tempus fugit...
After playing around with the Stereo Colorist I had to try stereo pairs made with a single camera. For this kind of subject it should work pretty well. And even if it doesn't, I had a nice time on top of the cathedral. Anyways, here the two shots were made a couple of meters apart, which turns out to be a bit too much, it feels like I'm looking a a little city model.

dont think this fence will keep anything in, or out!

The famous Akrasand Beach at Karmoy in Norway is long and beautiful. Several thousand meters of white sand and blue ocean. The water is not that warm.

I heard voices who doubt about my true origin. Look at my paws, are they enough to proof that I'm a real Maine Coon?

Autumn walks at Ashridge.
All the non-native evergreens have been removed, leaving this plantation of tall and spindly beech. Now it’s been surrounded with deer-proof fencing and the intention is to underplant with the native species that would have been growing here originally. Ultimately restoring this section of the woods as “ancient woodland”.

This is a view from the top of the Tawas Point Lighthouse on a very cold day, with a light snow falling. My ability to choose what I photographed was severely limited by the fact that the lighthouse windows were heavily fogged because of the heated interior. There was only a single patch clear enough to take a shot. The water in the distance is Tawas Bay on Lake Huron.

I used to think “Oh no I need to perfectly split this torso by the seams to swap out limbs to get an articulated doll” but nowadays I find it’s much easier to cut the torso up and ensure the articulated limbs already fit well in their sockets.
I keep forgetting how ridiculous the Liv torso joint is but it’s super big and annoying but I managed to pry the body apart so that’s a thing now and glued it onto the mermaid tail stump.
It’s mostly a proof of concept with my rerooted PJ head but as you can see I want to put a Mod era head on this body and make cute little mod dresses and stuff for her.
Our new bird feeder .... said to be squirrel proof, but I guess this squirrel didn't get the message!

We've been breaking our backs, goading our oxen, flogging our mollies and punching our nuts (get it? If you don't, just scroll back through my photostream a bit...i'll wait) to bring you nothing but the finest in family sci-fi based boardgame entertainment!
As proof and to open our poor, fragile egos up to your scathing criticisms, here's a new pilot concept for Chuvokh the Engineer. He's what you would call, 'not a people person.' Unless said people can be fixed with a spanner wrench. (And many can, little known fact.) So let us know what you think. Head on over to 1x5 Games and give some love. Watch for the kickstarter hopefully coming in March for the relaunch of Nutpunch! and buckle in Space Cadets, this is gonna be a bumpy (but awesome!) ride!
