Practicing my macro shooting

Thank you

Columns from the pier ... love the colors in this shot.

I am participating in Folded Word's writing month event, called "24/7," during August. Participants spend the first 24 days of the month writing short works, then spend the final week in revisions. The second part of this entry gives more details.

I'm not required to give a central theme to the entries, but I chose the theme "Divinations" and am using a pair of dice to generate prompts. My prompt for August 8 is to write a divination-themed short poem that uses water. You can read the piece here.

{off prompt} Georgia weather... In the low 80s just last week... Severe thunderstorms this morning with possibility of tornadoes... Snow flurries and sleet this afternoon... Down into the 20s tonight... And we have the pool guys coming to remove the cover and open up the pool next week when we should be back into the 70s and 80s... Go figure...
