Ecovolis is a program that aims to promote ecological transportation by bicycle, giving our city more clean air, adding a civic European practice that helps economic, social and environmental development of our community.
The bicycle stations now are a reality in Albania. The first public bicycle adapted by Eco-Bicycle Team is called Ecovolis. Eco Volis comes from Latin and means ecological flight (flight volis in Latin). The citizens and the community of Tirana will be able to use it for their daily needs, helping to relieve congestion and reduce carbon emissions, but also to raise the fitness level of citizens, improve the quality of neighborhood life, and relieve pressure on municipal budgets. The first Ecovolis stations will be close to Youth Park, in the Tirana Park and other key points for transportation of the citizens of Tirana. Everyone can use this service by subscribing to the Eco Bicycle to benefit by the possibility of using Ecovolis and also many other alternatives offered by Eco Bicycle. This ambitious project is the first of its kind in the Balkans, will soon spread to other major cities of Albania.

In a momentous milestone, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) celebrated its 58th anniversary at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, with an unprecedented grandeur. This marks the first time that the ASEAN Day was observed and commemorated in World Expo history.
Besides staging a celebration in Osaka, the occasion was also celebrated at the ASEAN Secretariat/ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The ASEAN Day celebration in Osaka witnessed a series of festive activities including a parade, flag hoisting ceremony, press conference, and a reception, all underscoring ASEAN’s vibrant cultural heritage and collective aspirations at a global stage like World Expo.
The highlight was the presiding of H.E. Satvinder Singh, Deputy Secretary-General for the ASEAN Economic Community, over the celebrations. In his address, DSG Singh reaffirmed ASEAN’s steadfast dedication to advancing sustainable, inclusive growth and prosperity in the region under the visionary framework of ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
Adding a harmonious touch to the occasion, a mesmerizing musical performance by @Casean showcased traditional Southeast Asian instruments, symbolizing the unity and diversity that define ASEAN. The event was graciously supported by @jaif and @airasiafoundation, whose contributions underscored the collaborative spirit that propels ASEAN forward.
This historic celebration also highlights ASEAN’s resolution to promote sustainable development, regional integration, and global partnership. As ASEAN continues to forge a path toward a resilient and inclusive future, the commemorations at the World Expo 2025 serve as a testament to the region’s enduring spirit of global solidarity and progress.
