With a little more sunlight promised I decided to try for another photograph of the beautiful Black Redstart. So arriving at Fort Perch Rock at first light with the sun rising over Liverpool on the opposite side of the Mersey estuary, I was feeling confident that the bird would show - and this time with some good light.
Well it took a while but several hours later, there he was, posing nicely for his adoring audience.
With only approx. 100 breeding pairs in the UK , it was great to see him again and to manage to take some better pictures of him.

What are promises, if not always broken.
Example why this lens was a favorite and garnered praise that it should have been labeled an 'L' lens.
Great rendering across the frame at f/1.8...albeit on APS-C.

part of the original photo was damaged so i did crop it a very little bit. however, as a matter of policy, i never crop my photos and i will always indicate when i do.
The rainbow that I have put in the sky will be my sign to you and to every living creature on earth. It will remind you that I will keep this promise forever. -Genesis 9: 12,13.
