Mooney Kelly provided commercial management services to Crown Castle International, a leading owner and operator of shared mobile communications and broadcast infrastructures. Mooney Kelly’s role was threefold. Firstly, the commercial administration of a national design and installation framework contract for civil engineering works on approximately five thousand sites across the UK. Secondly, the agreement of a schedule of rates framework agreement with broadcasting tenants and contractors; and thirdly site feasibility studies and the subsequent business case analysis and reconciliation of income and expenditure against both framework agreements.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Phase II of the Southwest Valley Flood Damage Reduction Project received the Mid-Region Council of Governments Board of Directors Public Partnership Award. The Albuquerque District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE); Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority (AMAFCA); Bernalillo County; Albuquerque Public Schools (APS); and Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District (MRGCD) worked together to design and build multiple parts of the project that included flood control ponds, storm drain diversions, water quality enhancements, a new soccer field, improved roadway crossings, and the creation of wildlife habitat. Haar passie en liefde voor de natuur is wonderbaarlijk. Dat mag ook wel. Ze is namelijk projectmanager bij de stichting Ulebelt. De Ulebelt is het natuur- en milieu educatiecentrum van Deventer waar ze allerlei projecten rondom het milieu bewuster leven organiseert.

Wat bedoel je precies met “dat”? ‘Nou, dat ze zelfvoorzienend moeten gaan leven en meer met elkaar. Met zelfvoorzienend bedoel ik dat we zo min mogelijk afhankelijk zijn van bijvoorbeeld een supermarkt. ‘t Hof van Twello is hier een mooi voorbeeld van. Hier kunnen mensen grond huren voor hun eigen moestuin. Zo kunnen ze hun eigen groente en fruit kweken. Wat je ook kan doen is je overtollige oogst ruilen met elkaar en anders kan je zelfs je groente en fruit verkopen bij de winkel van ‘t Hof van Twello zodat anderen hiervan kunnen profiteren. Zo helpen wij elkaar.’
En als we nou kijken naar studenten? ‘Ik denk dat je je eerst moet gaan afvragen: in hoeverre hebben studenten last van de krediet crisis? Ik kan me voorstellen dat er erg veel achteruitgang is in werk. Bijvoorbeeld de horeca. De horeca is een werkgever voor jongeren en het zal steeds lastiger zijn om werk te vinden. Je hebt als student naast je studiefinanciering vaak wel werk nodig om je inkomsten te verwerven.’ Estella staat op en stelt voor om een stukje rond te lopen. >
'We kunnen niets meer zelf'
‘We kunnen niets meer zelf. We zijn er aan gewend om alle diensten en producten die we hebben in te kopen. Je kleding, je voeding, je meubels, je huis. Noem maar op. Om dat te kunnen financieren moet je een baan hebben. Maar zodra je baan wegvalt of een deel van je inkomen, merk je dat je wel heel afhankelijk bent van al die producenten en professionals, je kan bijna niets meer zelf. Hoe wil je dan rondkomen? Het is nog maar een paar generaties geleden dat mensen zelf voedsel konden verbouwen, hun eigen meubels in elkaar knutselden en alles konden repareren. Mensen beginnen er nu noodgedwongen achter te komen dat ze zelf toch heel veel voor elkaar kunnen krijgen buiten het monetaire circuit om. Maar het probleem is dan dat de mensen dat weer moeten leren.’

We can easily understand the work of project manager through learning from experience. Project management is also an art because it requires long training to acquire the skill and people like Mounaim Koubaa is one of an example of an excellent project management. Their experience keeps us going through all deviations.
