Jamieson's DK in 147 Moss. It is so light! I amuse myself by tossing it up in the air. It is for my DNA scarf. Update: it will not work for the DNA scarf; too dark, tweedy, and felty. So I have officially started a yarn stash.

4 in swatch: 22-26 sts by 26-30 rows

In PlanningForce, you can set planning modes or targets. Our planning engine will then give you the best plan, along with values that indicate the quality.
Maj. Justin Toole, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District deputy commander, encourages 36 participants of the Hydropower Acquisition Course June 19, 2018 at Tennessee State University’s Avon Williams Campus in Nashville, Tenn., to network and freely share expertise. The purpose of the course is to synchronize best practices and work on improving how the Corps of Engineers executes a hydropower project from cradle to grave. (USACE Photo by Leon Roberts)
The outermoust top ovals will have sea serpents in them -- an homage to hic dracones. With my typical tight knitting (7 sts / in on #5 for DK!), the spread with just ovals would be only about 50". LYS owner suggested a border. Duly added; wavy lines will be a pattern picking up the wavy lace around the ovals.
You can change any information in PlanningForce and immediately get an adjusted plan. Variations can be organized into scenarios that can be compared easily. This allows you to:
- run what-if analyses to assess the possible impact of risks or new opportunities
- develop best case / worst case scenarios

this fabric was $3.50 a yard and is kind of thicker the stripe is thinner but the paisley is is like velvet sort of, the Vienna lace was 3 yards for $4.99, the other 2 trims were $1.00 a yard or less
red lace bought with my 50% of any red fabric at Hancock, the red with blue flowers is satin like fabric and the blue were both $2.00 a yard fabric

Another possibility, but somehow the Jamieson's seems like the right choice (in spite of them apparently dumping all of their DK colors)...
Look at those lovely yellowish and rust brown highlights! I hope it is not too busy for the DNA scarf, but it is too pretty not to try. I am beginning to understand the concept of a yarn stash: these were the last two skeins, and my LYS might be discontinuing carrying Jamieson's because of distribution and pricing issues. So I grabbed them.
Cables under flash; worst case scenario. The single-twist cables at the top are barely visible. Once again, socks are not mine, just a very convenient test case.
This is a traditional wool, from Scotland. This means it starts out scratchy (it will soften with gentle washing), but it is incredibly light and warm. Also, it doesn't get waterlogged -- you can pretty much dunk it in water and the water runs right out. The colors are 168 Clyde Blue and 999 Black. I added 150 Atlantic in a later picture. More information on Jamieson's wool.

Here is a sock (not mine!) with cables of a similar size to the DNA scarf (single and double twists). It is knit in the Silky Wool 10 Woad. The top of the sock is single-twist cables.
Once I sketched out the arrangement of the ovals, I remembered this lacework scarf that might make a good joining lace if it were elongated to an oval.
PlanningForce can be used for short-term project planning as well as for long-term project portfolio and resource planning. However, because things change over time, not many plans are executed exactly as scheduled. PlanningForce allows you to re-plan parts of the project portfolio that are not locked in, to re-balance and optimize your plans.
Jamieson's DK 999 Black
Elsebeth Lavold's Silky Wool 04 Charcoal
Emu Superwash in black
The options in black. I would go with the Silky Wool for a black scarf.
