My idiot friends, having nothing better to do, photoshopped me into Lee Harvey Oswald's mugshot (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Oswaldneworleans.jpg)
Pouting because he hates his new haircut. I think it looks like he has bangs. I told him to go back and have it cut like he wanted it but he refused. O'well, it will grow...right?
Kenyon Hall in West Seattle where my mom sang in her choir concert. They actually do have an organ in there, and give concerts on it regularly. [Project 366, June 2]
Happy Birthday John! It was my stepdad's 66th birthday yesterday. We went to Houlihan's in Lake Geneva for dinner. My parents go there just about every Friday night and sometimes every Saturday, too. They love to sit at the bar and just talk to everyone. So many people kept stopping by to say hello and wish him well. We didn't ask them to bring him a dessert and sing...they just did because everyone who works there loves my parents, too! (How could you not, really?) So the food was great and the company was great, too. Here's to many, many more birthdays!
Here is Cheryl putting up with photographing me while she drove us to Memphis in my car. We left late Thursday night...much later than we intended to. Weather was a HUGE factor in that. So frustrating. It was SNOWING when we left the Chicago area and then was just pouring the rest of the way down. At one point in Missouri it was so bad we had to pull over to the side of the road. UGH. We stopped in Sikeston, MO to catch a few hours of sleep around 2:30. We found this little Super 8 that was only $60 for all four of us. I have had some not so great experiences with Super 8 but this was very clean, comfortable, and safe. A plus overall.
It's so hot in the summer here in Florida, that okra is one of the few vegetables still growing in my garden

All my photos today were "mug shots" of the items that have been donated to the Gardens for Sunday's fundraiser. It reminds me once again how thankful I am to live in such a supportive and generous region.
“Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate.”- Albert Schweitzer
This hand crafted, hand painted "Pied Billed Grebe" was donated to the Historic Gardens Dinner & Auction. John & Sonia MacLeod are amazing artists!

Or is it a lion? You tell me! One of the statues at the gate to Vancouver's historic Chinatown.
These may look like prison bars, but actually they're just blinds on the window in my office. They sometimes feel like prison bars, though, which is why I constantly strive for something better and more rewarding than just pushing pens.....
This photo lookes black and white to me, but it's not. Today was just a grey and rainy sunday afternoon in Columbus and this picture depicts it perfectly. I thought these little birds were cute because of all the power lines around these little birds were the only ones to be found at that moment.
