This was from a shop window in Juneau, AK. It may have been called the Russia House, but I don't remember for sure. Posted for Smile on Saturday theme: sequence/progression. Post-processed to help the dolls stand out from the cluttered background and with processing erased from the dolls.

It's going to be a long week! Gutted I"ll be working tomorrow and unlikely to get a photo or 50 of the old dears

"The underside of the origami 'SpaceCraft' looks like this. You can see that the "MoToR" has worked already very hard, but it is using an ecologically sound technology."

What I like about this origami tessellation "MoToR" , it that it seems like it is really turning.

Folded from a hexagon 43cm, grid 1:64, "Anett paper".

Developmental stages of the Asian ladybeetle (Harmonia axyridis).

For "Smile on Saturday" ; theme : "sequence/progression".

I did some color chance on the other side of my newest tessellation 'Play'.

And found these four swinging ladies dancing on the music by Whitney Houston: 'I wanna dance with somebody ' .

They both are folded from German wrapping paper, grid 1:64", hexagon about 33cm, finish size about 15 cm, and again slightly concaaf. I think due to the density of the pattern and the thickness of this paper.

This image shows a progression of Size, Height, and Value.......

Often when I use glass balls in a photograph I include too much of my lounge or myself in the picture, this time I wrapped shiny gift wrap round the table to prevent this. It may be possible to see something in the large globe but that is slightly out of focus.

Producing a moody picture and how to get there, when you use one of your most spectacular photos from the past.

As mentioned in a comment on a previous photo in the series, these are generally pictures taken straight down on a grey cement floor. Colors appear during post-processing that depend in part on processing choices and in part on the quality of interior and exterior light on the scene. It didn't look like this when I saw it.

Thanks very much to all for the positive comments!

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a blue day at Color my world Daily and the theme at Looking close on Friday is Progression in Size. As you can see, in my picture, I decided to go with few pencils since I have so many of those … in different colors and seizes. And, I must admit it is one of my favourite subjects. If you look at my progression in size from left to right it perfectly illustrates the state of my bank account. And if you look at it from right to left: you have the progression in size of my weight. Knowing that, I must :1) resist all the Black Friday’s temptations (FYI : once again this year it is a major fail for me, my Zara basket is full) and 2) not forgot to run my 10km today. See you later my friends !!

Mucho, mucho amor for you my friends !! Have a beautiful day !!!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !
