Norwood Elementary students stretch, run and play exercise games at an after-school program. The student body is predominantly Latino and has several kindergarten students who weigh over 100 lbs. However, the school runs seven different special programs on physical activity and health education ranging from 7am to 6pm.

On December 9, 2016, the Arboretum and Public Garden had the opportunity to welcome a group of students from a journalism program in Visalia CA. The aspiring young journalists had the opportunity to interview our Museum Education & Interpretive Manager- Maya Makker, GATEways Outreach Students- Vivian Le and Rachel Le and our Outreach and Leadership Program Coordinator- Melissa Cruz.

The Seabiscuit program took place on August 2003 at Countryside.
Seabiscuit's former jockey lives locally and he described the world of thoroughbred racing in the 1930s when Seabiscuit was the “all-star” of all time. He shared a scrapbook filled with his racing career highlights and shared many memories. The library was filled to capacity that day.

Cerimônia de diplomação dos vencedores do 12º Concurso de Redação do Programa Jovem Senador, no Salão Negro do Congresso Nacional.
O tema de 2024 é “Os 200 anos do Senado e os desafios e o futuro da democracia” e conta com a participação de estudantes de todo o país, oriundos da rede pública de ensino.

Crocwise was and is a program of community education conducted by environmental educators, Wildlife Rangers and Park Rangers in the Northern Territory. The program is designed to reduce the incidents of Saltwater Crocodile attacks on Territorians and visitors to the Northern Territory. Most of these images were used in posters, social media (especially the NT Parks and Wildlife Facebook page), PowerPoints and other promotional material and most are no longer used.
