Internationale UNESCO-conferentie over 70 jaar Haags Verdrag
Van 13 tot en met 15 mei 2024 is het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden gastheer van de UNESCO Internationale Conferentie “Cultural Heritage and Peace: Building on 70 years of The UNESCO Hague Convention, for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict” (Cultureel Erfgoed en Vrede: Bouwen op 70 jaar UNESCO Haags Verdrag, voor de bescherming van culturele eigendommen in geval van gewapende conflicten).
De 70e verjaardag van het Haags Verdrag brengt experts van over de hele wereld samen in het Vredespaleis en World Forum in Den Haag. Om samen de baten, uitdagingen en lessen te bespreken die zijn opgedaan sinds de inwerkingtreding van het verdrag.

UNESCO International Conference “Cultural Heritage and Peace: Building on 70 years of The Hague Convention”
From 13 to 15 May 2024 the Kingdom of the Netherlands hosts the UNESCO International Conference “Cultural Heritage and Peace: Building on 70 years of UNESCO Hague Convention (for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict).”
The 70th anniversary of the 1954 Hague Convention in The Hague Peace Palace and World Forum presents an opportunity to collectively reflect on the achievements and associated best practices, along with challenges and difficulties these instruments entail.
