Brighter Bites is a collaborative effort designed to improve access to healthy, affordable food and provide nutrition education. The University of Texas School of Public Health, KIPP Schools, the Houston Food Bank and Texas Children's Hospital have partnered to offer the 16-week program to third-grade children enrolled at KIPP Explore Academy and their parents. As you can see from the photos, those healthy kale smoothies are a hit!

Los integrantes del nuevo consejo del Programa Explora de CONICYT sostuvieron su primera reunión, en que además de recibir la bienvenida y agradecimientos de las autoridades de la institución y del programa, pudieron conocer diferentes aspectos de su funcionamiento, así como comenzar un trabajo en conjunto, en pos del desarrollo de nuevas estrategias de divulgación y valoración de la ciencia.
El Consejo está integrado por:
- Sylvia Eyzaguirre, investigadora del Centro de Estudios Públicos.
- Gilda Carrasco Silva, vicerrectora académica de la Universidad de Talca.
- Alejandra Arratia, directora ejecutiva de Fundación Educación 2020.
- María Pía Santelices, académica de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, directora alterna en el “Núcleo Milenio para la investigación en depresión y personalidad MIDAP” y directora del Diplomado Promoción de Apego Seguro.
- Paloma Ávila, y conductora de Panorama 15 en CNN y subgerente de contenidos de Fundación Vive Chile.
- Rosario Navarro, vicepresidenta de Sonda S.A, consejera SOFOFA, directora ACTI.

The 2015 Youth and Mentors Film Program was a filmmaking workshop that brought together youth and the people they look up to in their community. They collaborated to produce these powerful short films, and were featured in a short documentary. The program was made possible with the support of the Peel Regional Police, The Journey Neighbourhood Centre, and the Province of Ontario.

Victory Programs' 2017 Dinnerfest RED Party + Auction was one for the record books with a celebrity-style step and repeat, returning rock-star auctioneer Kathy Kingston and premium prizes including a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to throw the first pitch at PRIDE night at Fenway park that sold for nearly $5,000 after Dinnerfest co-chair Tiffani Faison upped the anti not once, not twice, but three times, sweetening the deal with additional goodies courtesy of her 2nd restaurant, Sweet Cheeks Q which happens to be steps away from Fenway Park, live on stage to motivate bidders! Guest who wore red, the signature color for the event, were entered into a special raffle. The event raised more than $130,000, last year's record and supports Victory Programs' 17 health, housing and prevention programs which serve more than 2,300 men, women and children annually.
