O tema de 2024 é “Os 200 anos do Senado e os desafios e o futuro da democracia” e conta com a participação de estudantes de todo o país, oriundos da rede pública de ensino.

Albino Perra Herrera with family and friends at home, at work in his cheese making business, and working on the campaign [please requst more details]. From a May/June 2007 visit to document Rare Conservation's Pride program with Albino Perra Herrera in the Great American Grassland high desert around Janos, Mexico in the northern region of the state of Chihuahua. This effort focuses on education and training around the sustainable use of the grassland prairies. Issues include poorly managed grazing, excessive and sometimes illegal water use, and other extractive and heavily impacting agricultural practices. At stake is the largest remaining intact grassland praires in North America and a critical ecosystem for hundreds of migrating bird species, and a large number of reptile and mammal species including the black footed ferret, North America's most endangered mammal species. NEWPORT, R.I. – International students assigned to the U.S. Naval War College (NWC) are greeted by NWC President Rear Adm. Pete Garvin during a welcome ceremony August 14, 2023. Students from the Naval Command College and Naval Staff College along with their families and sponsors, were welcomed by NWC faculty and staff as they begin their 11-month residential programs in Newport. The programs are designed to build trust, confidence, and cooperation between American and international officers while building enduring friendships and partnerships amongst students and their families. Established in 1884, NWC informs today’s decision-makers and educates tomorrow’s leaders by providing educational experiences and learning opportunities that develop their ability to anticipate and prepare strategically for the future, strengthen the foundations of peace, and create a decisive warfighting advantage. O intuito da ação, que percorrerá Regiões Administrativas (RAs), será ofertar serviços do Sistema Comércio ligados à Federação e aos 28 sindicatos, para que fomentem o associativismo e trabalhem na defesa dos interesses empresariais do setor de comércio de bens, serviços e turismo no Distrito Federal.

The Fort Drum Cultural Resources Program remembers Clotilde de Gouvello, who died Sept. 20, 1818, in early childhood. The granddaughter of real estate tycoon James LeRay, she is buried on Fort Drum, very close to the LeRay Mansion where the family lived. Soon after Clotilde’s burial, a bell was placed beside her grave so passersby could ring the bell to share in the family’s grief, a practice that continues to this day.
Her epitaph reads, "She was endeared to her Parents and relatives, and beloved by all who witnessed her 15 months of suffering life. Strew flowers on her grave, but weep not as she numbers with Angels in Heaven." (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. 1st Class Bernardo Fuller)
