Most Rev. David J. Walkowiak, bishop of Grand Rapids, and members of The Catholic Foundation of West Michigan's (CFWM) Bishop’s Angels' Annual Giving Program celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the program Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, the feast day of The Holy Guardian Angel. The celebration took place at The University Club of Grand Rapids.
Guests were welcomed by Bishop Walkowiak and enjoyed panoramic views of downtown, mingling with friends, leafing through photo albums of past events and learning about The Foundation’s 2019 Strategic Plan.

We made wedding programs all day for Kate's wedding. All day. Here's Kristen (is that name spelled right?) and Ben in the midst of the making.
Our Summer Performance Program students had the time of their lives here at Berklee Valencia.
They had the opportunity not only to develop their amazing artistry and talent, but also to get to know friends from all over the world.
From the first campus tour when they arrived, to the concerts they gave over their last days at the school, all the beautiful memories they made will surely last a lifetime!
In this experiential program, students learn about Chesapeake geography, social studies, and economics by following the blue crab on its journey from the brackish Bay to our picnic tables. The program focuses on the people who earn their livelihood from the crabbing industry. Students have a chance to walk in their shoes by working a trotline activity, picking stuffed crabs at a packing house, ordering from a restaurant on a migrant worker’s wages, and culling their dredge catch. La piccola cittadina di Pancevo in Serbia è stata per alcuni anni la sede di uno dei più innovativi e calorosi festival underground d’Europa, il GRRR !, curato dall’infaticabile disegnatore serbo Aleksandar Zograf.
Concluso il faticoso mestiere di organizzatore per dedicarsi interamente all’altrettanto faticoso lavoro di disegnatore, Zograf non ha smesso di proporre nella città vicino a Belgrado incontri, mostre, eventi per promuovere la cultura del fumetto e favorire l’incontro tra i giovani locali e autori nazionali e internazionali.
Proprio all’interno del GRRR ! program si terrà il 14 luglio (data della presa della Bastiglia…) la mostra evento di Costantini Channeldraw, che presenta in anteprima il suo nuovo progetto in rete, di cui esporrà i disegni originali. Channeldraw sarà un sito interamente dedicato all’informazione disegnata: non solo cronaca o politica, ma anche viaggi, ricette, ecc.
L’artista ravennate sarà accompagnato da Elettra Stamboulis con la quale terrà presenterà una proiezione di diapositive sugli ultimi progetti editoriali italiani.
