The mounting board was designed to help with keeping each wall mount parallel and the exact distance apart. The final mounting board design was also integrated into the packaging design to add an additional colour to the packaging as well as stability and strength to the package

My idea here is a smart clock radio. Using a Android operating system. It would be a mix of the Amazon Echo and a smartphone with access to the app store. Coming with 4 buttons that are customizable to the users needs. With a large around display. Two speakers.

Aimee produced this Design Assignment in response to last year's task.

This year's candidates have asked me to provide further exemplification so that they might better understand the more technical aspects of the DA task.

Aimee did really well last year. I'll need to check her component mark, but from memory I'm pretty sure she scored in the high 50's out of the available 70 marks.

I'll post the actual SQA score once I've checked.

Update: I can confirm that Aimee scored a highly respectable 62/70 for her DA task.
