The usual messy book shelves. I am trying to rearrange them - but usually end up looking at the books instead. Great excuse for procrastination = as if I ever needed that.
My "lego" block Nikon F is put aside for the moment as we have had visits from small kids and expect another in a couple of weeks. Would be too tempting for a 6 year old.
I now have 16 days before I have to deliver my thesis. The end of five years at the university is closing waay too fast.
"The Procrastinator's Hereafter. Take a friend's advice: Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today--Answer that letter." Sign: "Bottomless Pit Drop In."
Pity the poor procrastinator who doesn't answer his letters! This pathetic fellow obviously failed to keep up with his correspondence while he was alive, and now in the "hereafter" the devil is looking over his shoulder to make sure he responds on time--and for all time!
In order to avoid falling into the fiery "Bottomless Pit" below, the procrastinator is precariously perched on an endless roll of paper as he scribbles out his message. The last few lines he's written on the paper suggest that he's trying to explain away his current predicament: "...in my new home. Although everything is up to sample, I'm not stuck on the place but circumstances over which I have no control impel me to stick...."
Reverse of postcard:
Postmarked: "Hartford, Conn., Aug. 25, 1912."
Addressed to: "Mr. W. J. Ross, 131 River St., N. Adams, Mass."
Handwritten message: "Dear Will: What do you think of this for a card? I don't hear from Flora very often. I'm working and not having much fun either--just existing. Not as tired as when I came here. Hastily, Cora."

I'm curious how much others procrastinate over shots they put up?
I seem to be getting worse as time goes by - previously I'd just post any old thing but now I worry about them tooooo much I think. Maybe I should just chuck em out there and leave it to people to view them ? Anyone got any thoughts on this ?
taken August 06 in County Cork.
and best viewed large imho!
no photoshop on the colours at all :-)
only cropped to get rid of nasty telephone wires at the top and crappy bushes that served no purpose in the photo at the bottom !
oh and this was a full on zoom of the same scene.
So today, I went up to a hill near by with Nico brother/"manager" and assistant for this shoot. My first self-portrait outside on a location ( trying to push myself because I procrastinate too much, finding inspiration). Hope you guys like the result! I liked it ! Will be posting more. .
That is the moral of this photograph. I was not happy that this was sharp enough and kept meaning to go back to this spot and this puddle (sad life I lead...Lol!!) but I never got round to it until the other night and the petrol station has closed down!!
A truly Machiavellian woman. There is no better way to describe the Iron Lady of Elavia. Simultaneously of a steely disposition and a silver tongue, Marquise Reglay is one of the, if not the finest of aristocratic minds in all Roawia, let alone Lenfald. The youngest of 9 siblings, and a girl to boot, the Marquise adroitly outmaneuvered her father, and all 8 of her siblings to place herself on her family's seat of power all without spilling a single drop of blood. Ruthlessly effective, and cunning to a fault, Marquise Reglay is well-known for always coming out on top in virtually every scenario she is placed in. Two weeks before a Loreesi army detachment reached Elavia during the War of Loreesi Aggression, all citizens of the region were ordered not to drink from any of the wells within a hundred miles of the city, instead being issued rations of water from alternative sources. Reportedly, the Loreesi Army detachment, over 5,000 souls, their horses, and elephants fell gravely ill and perished within a week, only a day's ride from the gates of Elavia. Not a single drop of Lenfel blood was spilled: furthermore, after the wellwater was inspected by Lenfel forces who had accused the Marquis of war crimes it was found to be quite drinkable and seemingly un-tampered with. Her involvement in the issue was never proven. During the Reign of Queen Galanir, Elavia was notably silent during the entire time the Queen held sway. A veritable dead zone, no one of the rest of Lenfald or of the Queen heard from Elavia until the Queen's power had loosened. Upon inspection of Elavia by an army sent to "liberate" the city, Elavia was found to be in perfect order, with not a single dragon to be found in the entire city. When asked about it, the Marquise easily deflected the questions and provided no solid answers. Marquise Reglay is also well-known for giving the aristocratic backing necessary to form the now-legendary mercenary company: The Emerald Wolves, in exchange for an undisclosed favor, and the permanent assignment of protecting Elavia with no less than 1/6 of their total forces, effectively granting the region with a large, self-maintaining standing army at no cost. It is unknown what her contribution to the upcoming high council may be, but whatever the outcome, the Iron Lady is certain to benefit.

Procrastination knows no bounds.
My mom told me to go pack my suitcase this morning, but instead I took some pictures with it. I'm still pretty shaky on focusing myself in self-portraits, if anyone has any tips or tricks, I'm all ears!
First of my 365!! How exciting! I'm leaving tomorrow, so I my days will be pretty sparse on here, but I thought I'd start (:
While I was supposed to be studying for my finals, procrastination decided to creep up on me and take my mind to other places.
As that happened, fellow photographer Ross Nortier pitched up at my front door demanding to go capture the sunset.
This is the result of procrastination.

Same place and time as yesterday, same amount of procrastination rather than studying for Finals. But at a different angle...

I've been meaning to try and take more photos recently, and decided to try to take a photo every day (for the forseable future anyway)
Of course, this new goal isn't related to the fact I should be studying at all...
(If anyone's wondering - and I'm sure you're not - the book is "Mobile Media and Applications: From Concept to Cash")
There were assignments to be written, chores to be done - mundanities. And then there was this. Camera please!
