You're trying to organize your computer files and come across a set of pictures you never stitched into a panorama from two years ago. So... a panorama of Resurrection Bay. February 2009. It's not great, but so far it's what I have accomplished today... which is to say, not much!

lately i’ve been sidetracked with different things going on in my life, weather if i should stay around here longer or stick around longer so i can buy more lens… save up etc.. or just pack up and move to another place. honestly i dont know at all. i’m confused.. i dont know where in the world i want to go any more. in ways which i push my plans into later dates. i dont know why i dont walk the talk but keeps on putting things off. i was supposed to move to China last year, but then again decied to move to SF this year.. then again a call from china change the plane drastically.. am i really going to quit my fat paycheck job and move to china for a simple film gig? i dont know…

Sometimes, when you need to make a change, you're the last person to know. Friends and family might drift away unless you change your ways. Where do you begin to succeed in self improvement? In this article, you'll learn some key ideas you can use towards forging yourself into a new person.

 

Perhaps stress is keeping you from feeling happy. Stress can take both a physical and an emotional toll on your body. Avoiding decisions means missing opportunities in the arena of personal development. Even if you don't have all the information you would like, don't be scared to make decisions. Great decisions encourage sharp instincts. Even decisions with less favorable outcomes are of help because they allow the decision-maker to learn from the mistake. If you make the wrong decision, then you, you will not make it again.

 

Try to obtain the most out the time you are working. Something you should do is to increase the amount of short breaks you take throughout the workday. Although it sounds counterproductive, taking breaks when working actually allows to to get more accomplished, because you aren't getting burnt out. The breaks allow you a chance refresh yourself and work harder.

 

Become a more well-rounded person by growing your leadership qualities. While there are multiple ways to define leadership, most people regard it as influence. Consider your leadership background. Think about the circumstances that have had the most influence in your life. How did those experiences change you? What personality characteristics define you as a team player? When you can answer those questions, you'll know how to be part of a team.

 

Write a personalised affirmation. Take a small sheet of paper and write down every positive attribute you own. Keep it with you, and pull it all out if you are feeling discouraged. Better yet, read the list out loud while recording yourself. What is the reason?

 

Make each day a better one than the last. Steady, unending improvement should be your goal. Tell yourself that you will at least make improvements to one thing that day compared to how it once was done.

i liked this. i was playing around with photo booth and realized that my sewing machine was up in the corner, as if it were a thought in my head, the place i really should be instead of here playing with photo booth.

My eyes still hurt a little bit from this one ;P That thing was BRIIIIGHT!
