Public sculpture on the edge of Paternoster Square by Thomas Heatherwick. I've just discovered that it is actually called 'Paternoster Vents' and functionally provides a vent for an electricity substation below it.

It has subsequently become known as 'Angel's Wings'.

Vintage flic.kr/p/T6C4U9.

Sucker for vintage! It just opens up another world where I envision the history behind the object/subject. I need time to go through the emotions, even though is a made up story in my head 😆😁

Processed HDR, adjusted colors and light, removed noises.

Lomo LC-A + TX 400

The transformation process (from vehicle form to robot form) is as follows:

Stage 1

Start with the model in vehicle form.

Stage 2

Detach the roof of the camper van and put to one side.

Remove the gun from inside and assemble (the gun is split into two parts when stored).

Stage 3

Stand the camper van upright on its end.

Stage 4

Pull each half of the rear of the camper van out to form the legs.

Stage 5

Fold the front wheels forward, first the axle and then the wheels themselves.

Push the wheels further onto their axles (in vehicle form, they sit as far out as they can without falling off).

Stage 6

Pull the front half of the camper van upwards (until the two long Technic pins with bushes click into their secondary position).

Stage 7

Fold the front half of the camper van forwards.

Adjust the position of the front axle until it touches the front half of the camper van.

Stage 8

Fold the head out from inside the front half of the camper van.

Stage 9

Fold the slopes attached to the front half of the camper van down.

Fold out the arms from the front half of the camper van.

Stage 10

Attach the gun to one arm (for example the right arm as shown).

Attach the roof (using the pin on the underside) to the other arm.

The model has now been transformed into its robot form.

This process can be reversed to transform the robot form back to the vehicle form.

This was built for the Eurobricks Pimp My Camper contest. The aim of this contest was to take the official 40079 set and customise it in some way (whilst keeping the dimensions of the body the same as the official set).

After so much winterscapes I thought post something different.

This is a new version of an older shot of mine.

Hope you like it and thanks for visiting.

Toned and filtered but the full shot as taken above my head. No cropping or distortion... happen to like triangles and I saw plenty of them here... it became the base for my contribution for Sliders Sunday.

Shot @ Pottery Town,Old Photo Shoot with BWS,Bangalore.

Today I was honored that an artist I greatly admire contacted me to ask permission to post-process one of my self portraits.

I think he did a gorgeous job.

To think, it was one that I almost didn't post.
