My 1st roll of colour (C-41 process) film processed at home, by hand.
The (35mm) film was several years expired.
I used my Zeiss Ikon Contina iii.
I've altered some images in Photoshop, but in general, I was really pleased with the results, and it was so exciting to process at home!.

I ran into a relatively cheap second hand core2duo T7700 processor for my laptop, so I upgraded it. It needed some TLC lately
This is the finished version of this photo taken just after touching up my dreads then playing with ImageReady, experimenting with levels and processing...i've deleted the earlier version and corrected a small shadow issue that was bugging me, so this is the final, print quality version for those who've emailed and asked about prints.
Reprocessed the LRGB-frames of the Pleiades exposed with PixInsight. Stars turned out a bit too saturated, other than that I'm reasonably content with the results.

Now that wetting agent being used here just happens to be beer …. ( amazing that ) , and not just any ole beer either , but VB naturally , of course !
Now after removing the wetting agent as much as possible , carefully peel back the paper backing … careful mind you .

My Nephew had back surgery in order to fix a issue with his spine. They had to do several blood transfusions because he has sickle cell & they have to make sure he has enough blood to deal with the 6 to 8 hour surgery.
He's a strong kid & my sister is a strong mother who's always been there for him through it all... Hard Times
