The Market (a very short photo essay) Part 5: The Superfood AMPt_community WeAreJuxt.com EyeEm Best Shots foodporn Chinese Broccoli is the king of all super foods - it is one of the main reasons why bowel cancer is rare amongst the Chinese anywhere in the world. We eat Chinese spinach and Chinese broccoli like it is going out of fashion: steamed with a drizzle of premium oyster sauce, stir fried with thin slivers of any meat, it is the most powerful anti-oxidant and I feel something amiss when I don't have one or the other at least 5 times a week. It is the yin that balances all the yang we can consume. #procamera #iphone #photography #eyeem (the tags are for Facebook) - and that may be the end of this short story. Unless more pop up on my photo stream!

The Market (a small photo essay): Part 2 - The Butcher AMPt_community WeAreJuxt.com The story behind the picture Procamera, Snapseed, Steph filter /// The man in the yellow shirt REFUSED to get out of the way! Never in my life of taking photos have I come across someone who intentionally wants to be in a photo. This photo alone took 10 minutes as I waited patiently for him to move out of the way. After 3 minutes when I realised what he was doing, I gave up and decided to include him - except that he kept standing in the middle of my frame! So this is an unintentional directed shot from me. When he moved to where I wanted him to, I just gave a big thumbs up and said "hoh! Hoh!" Which means "good" in Cantonese!
