I got Procreate yesterday and I am literally amazed at the results!!! From left to right is Crossbones, Cap, and Steve Rogers!!! Procreate is the best and it DEFINITELY suits me!!!
Was inspired by Billy Riner to buy Procreate.
Was inspired by Melvin Seton for Steve Roger head.
“Sunflower Farm” by Patti Deters. A pretty and bright yellow sunflower blooms along a fence in a farm field with a barn and silo in the background. Painterly effect added to give it a dreamy summer feel. If you like this digital art image, please enjoy more of my (floral, outdoors, scenic, and more) images at patti-deters.pixels.com.
This was an interesting scene. What first caught my attention is the “conversation” this couple was having as it was loud and agitated. Once she made the proposition and assumed the position he was ready to go. He flew away and then would swoop down upon her for a short time. This cycle repeated itself at least 5 times in fast succession. It didn’t appear to be stopping either…but a couple of photographers (I use the term loosely) on the other side saw me clicking away and made a bee line right to me scaring the couple away. Then they looked back in the direction I was shooting (they just came from) and asked what I was shooting. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Used the 300mm to be a little more mobile and agile.

San Joaquin Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary.
Apps used: procreate, snapseed, painteresque and psexpress.
First started with the background pattern (inspired by seeing someone wearing a shirt with a similar pattern). First drew the pattern, then roughened it a little bit up with snapseed. Next I drew/painted the pillar at the right. First I wanted to add the figure with the head just as is. But then I got the idea to make it look like someone was painting the figure. Last addition was the faded poster on the wall, for that I used a version of the image that was processed with painteresque. Final step was making the colors slightly more saturated with psexpress.
Well, I got some procreate the other day, and immediately started sculpting a more movie accurate Bane. I'm rather proud of it. The amount of detail procreate can hold is amazing. I sculpted a new mask, new vest, new wrist guard, and muscles. Any suggestions before I paint?
Original digital painting with ProCreate 5, Apple Pencil, and iPad Pro.
Transformed and restyled with Graphite app.
This is an iPad painting, made with a beta version of iColorama. I used several of John's images, and a previous portrait, as sources to build this. Deep inside, there is some Procreate, too.
For Diana Nicholette Jeon.
One of three versions in a series. This is the one I posted to Facebook.
This is an iPad painting, made with a beta version of iColorama, and Procreate. I started with an older portrait I had made for Diana, and used some of her images as sources, and some of mine.
SI removed the Touch+Hold with Apple Pencil gesture and J.C. explanation sounds like a joke. The solution, the square between size and opa-panel sucks! No feedback, inaccurate and you need 50% more time. The last years i need only one hand to interact with procreate but J.C. means: "Hey guys, you do wrong. Our way is the right way." GTFO And no, Touch isn't the solution!
