Here is a picture of last years birthday present (lexicon Omega USB Mixer) taken with this years Birthday Present (Nikor 55-200 VR lense) 8-8-08 is the best birthday ever!!!
I got a Canon EF25II extension tube today, and so far I love it! I can use my existing 70-105mm f/4L lens which has a little bit of macro focus, and this just amplifies it. The lens was about an inch away from the Infinity logo when I took this picture. Amazing!

Not my usual fare for a Doors Open event, but I've been working on improving my own audio production skills for both my voice-over work on video and the CCR podcast. So what better place to ask some questions than a professional recording studio. Plus as a bonus I got to use a massive SSL recording desk, see a 24-track reel-to-reel tape, and see how compressors and tube amps work in the real world.
