i get this fun static about 50% of the time when i wake my mac pro from sleep. From what i have read on the tubes this is a common problem and is thought to be a driver issue. As it occurs on brand new and slightly older mac pros of all different versions. I think it also typically occurs when using DVI.

For me the best example of what makes Apple special is the old Mac Pro. When designing a tower, the aim is to develop a machine that’s expandable and often form follows function in the cheapest possible way. Apple’s tower is the a piece of brilliant design full of fantastic touches. The ability to expand it without any tools. Plastic pieces edging pressed metal sections to that you don’t cut yourself. Sliding draws to make replacing hard disks simple. Even labelling to help you understand where things go. Most of this is never seen. Yet Apple’s designers didn’t compromise. The internal of a product should be as well designed as the externals. This is something few in the business can match. For me the Mac Pro tower is another Apple design classic.
Act of Kindness & Philanthropy, Individual: Officer Bryan Pro
Officer Bryan Pro, a School Resource Officer, encountered a young boy who had been arrested and placed in the Youth Services Diversion Program. Officer Pro saw the boy regularly as he completed the terms of his contract and the two developed a good relationship. Concerned that her son was still at risk, the boy’s mother identified a boot camp program
which she felt could help save him from future involvement in crime. The program, based in San Luis Obispo, required the involvement of a male role
model, not a family member, who would commit to 18 months to mentor the child. Officer Pro was asked to be that mentor and he received the approval of the Department to participate. Officer Pro made three trips to San Luis Obispo on his own time and expense
to attend the programs at the facility. He saw this boy mature, gain confidence, and emotional stability. He has happily returned to Vacaville High School, is
earning good grades, playing sports and is proud of his accomplishments. Without the dedication of Officer Pro, who went far above and beyond the call
of duty, this boy might easily have been lost to lifetime of underachievement or crime.

I wanted to run a test of all of the filters in the MOLO Filters Pro app for the Palm Pre. My stream is now flooded with this image in various states of processing, but I now have a little set of samples, which makes me happy!
We will now return to our regularly scheduled program.
